This is exactly what the legal system is for.

Sexism goes both ways. Sue the **** out of them and never work another day.

An assumably white male filing a discrimination case in Britain thinking he has any reasonable chance of winning.

Come on now, comments be reasonable.

He should've taken them to court?
Gender equlity m8.
Although being British we tend not to want to make a fuss.

This lights a fire in my butthole so intense that having the sun between my cheeks would cool it down.

I dunno where you are from but we can sue for discrimination in Australia. You can't outright say "I don't want someone of your sex." Yeah OK people search nitty gritty bits to see if they can get rid of you for a better reason, but that's because they know that the punishment is ridiculous and possibly will destroy their business.

Well you need sexism in Britain, we never really had that many black people around to get very good at racism, so we only have class, sex and the gingers to discriminate.

Americans, why do you sue everything that breathes?

My first response was "women dealt with this **** for decades, suck it up", but then I realized that you don't have to suck it up: sue the bitches out house and home.

I wouldn't of even shook their hands. That's disgusting disrespect right there.

Well honestly I'd have said "If that's how you conduct your hiring process then this isn't a company I want to be associated with." Then leave without a handshake or another word. Part of being a man, as I was taught, is self-respect. I wouldn't feel that I was missing out on an amazing job, they'd be missing out on an amazing employee.

If I could get paid to do nothing, I'd jump on that in a heart beat. Hard work does not equal good pay and a worthwhile life.

I would ******* go after them legally like everyone else here is saying, **** it even if it's in Britain, I don't know their legal system but this sounds like ********* . That's plain and simple discrimination against this guys gender. Regardless of if they are lesbians, sexist, or whatever the **** they are, if this was a legitimate job (as it not a contract/under the table deal) then they are probably not allowed to do that. In the States, this is flat out discrimination under the "equal opportunity employment act) and they would be slammed for it big time, then piled on with some news reports about them being that way.

What kind of ****** up world do we live in where people stick think backwards like this. This is 2014, the world should be far beyond discrimination over a job, especially in a developed country like GB. Boy this post got my jimmies russled. I feel bad for this guy, if it's you OP or another guy on 4chan, whoever it is I hope they get justice.

Discrimination. Simple as that. Take them to court. Sue them for losses of possible income from job if not discriminated. Legal fees etc. UK Law is on your side. Get to it buddy.
