He probably made it up as he played along.
Every once and a while you get a really good melody but forget how it went

I'd kill myself before I'd commit suicide.
That being said, suicide is not the answer. No matter how bad things can be, they will get better, for you, or someone out there.

Why would you say that?
I get what you're trying to convey, but in some cases, death is by far the best solution.
Right off the bat I want to clear the air and tell you I'm not "pro-suicide" in that matter. If a person commits suicide, something absolutely horrible must have happened to them, and I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy.
I still believe that there are many cases in which suicide is the best option. I think when people talk about suicide, they often seem to forget that death is in fact inevitable, and is bound to happen at some point, and it could happen at almost any time.

Let me ask you, if a person is terminally ill, like cancer for an example, and there's a 100% chance he or she would experience a horrible death within a year of immense and constant pain.
If he or she has made his or her piece with the people he/she loved, and felt like they've gotten what they wanted out of life, would it not be better to let them decide to pass away on their own terms?
Terms where they can virtually control everything about their death like the time, the mental preparation beforehand, having the ones you love at your side, and without pain.

I really want you to think about it. Not just read it, but take two or three minutes after wards to think really hard about which way you would like to go. After all, nothing say's that exact thing isn't going to happen to you.

Now, if you've had a moment and thought about how it would feel to be in that position, let's up the ante a little bit.
What if the person isn't even terminally ill?
Would it still be wrong to let yourself go 100% of the time no matter what circumstances?
I say no.

Time to get a bit personal.

i learned how to play the violin (very basic notes and a few complicated sad measures) and now everytime someone walks into my office to complain about me giving them back to back flights after a 2 hour break (supposed to be 30 mins) i stop them, pull out my violin and tell them to continue while i play a sad song.... gets them out of my office really quick

If I ever do kill myself, which I have considered before, it will probably be to Ashokan Farewell. I'd go happy with it being the last thing I would hear
Ashokan Farewell´╗┐ - Great Version!
