WELL let's look at it this way.

I live in arizona, where guns are everywhere
when Jared Loughner shot Gabby Giffords (in arizona) on Jan 8th, nobody else around had a gun.
6 people died.

Alright, now imagine if EVERYONE else around a had a gun. the second Jared would've fired that first round, 20 other people would already have their own firearms out pointed at him.
Instead of a funeral for 6 and a jail sentence for one, there'd have been be a funeral for maybe 2. including Jared.

thank you for your time.

Well look at the statistics of deadly crimes in Britain before and after the ban of personal firearms. it's actually higher

Copying from wikipedia but the source is accurate: In the United Kingdom in 2009 there were 0.07 recorded intentional homicides committed with a firearm per 100,000 inhabitants; for comparison, the figure for the United States was 3.0, about 40 times higher, and for Germany 0.2.

And guns are carried around in northern ireland because it's such a clusterfuck

yeah, but thats because even cops don't fucking get guns, how retarded are they

that's actually very irrelevant.
ask any officer why they carry a gun, and they will say "to protect myself" not "to protect the public"
