I'm entitled to my opinion and that is that 9gag has shitty content. Of course, there's going to be some stuff that's funny. That goes for every site like this. I just hate the users. Also it uses facebook to comment. oh, and "le" pisses me off haha.

That's because 4chan is known to have some fucked up gore and CP on their threads, but besides the fucked up shit, 4chan could be a very funny site. So basically people want to watch the funny threads of 4chan and skip the gore and apparently, this is their way of doing that.
