Since ml is known to be caring and loving towards all life, I' ll just leave this here.
My cat brought me this mouse- It isn' t bleeding and I see no visible wounds. However, it' s breathing very fast and not responding to
anything. I guess it' s shock.
Wat do?

Really glad that I' m only getting animal friendly and caring responses and advice- And I was expecting ml to
just bombard me with edgy and cruel suggestions.
Anyway, gave him tiny cup of water
replaced cheese with seeds
Tim ate one
Breathing slows down, eyes slowly sh
Hope he' s going to sleep and won' t be kill

Noticed Tim seemed calmer now, no longer in shock
But breathing also became increasingly shallow
Realize Tim will be kill soon

It was probably the stress that killed him. You would be surprised how dangerous stress can be to those critters.

Even though it's sad. This man gave everything to make this mouse's final moments as comforting and memorable as possible. In the end...Regardless if Tim was dying he was happy and that's all that matters in the end.

You're all going to hate me, I had a similar experience.....except the mouse kept me up at night so I killed it with a hammer.

this hits me cause we found a stray cat in my backyard and i picked it up asking my older sis if we should name him john or timmy. Two random names off the top of my head because we didnt know if we could even keep him. My sis said timmy and we started giving him bread cause we had no cat food and he was all skinny and sick. After help from our neighbors and many vet visits, he is the best cat I have today and we've had him for ten years. No one probably cares but I wanted to share anyway

TL;DR-Found stray cat, named him timmy, best cat ever

I've done something similar when i was younger. i was in the backyard and saw my cat with a tiny bird in the mouth still alive, he put the bird down and i went to check on the little birdie.
it had a broken wing, couldnt see any bite marks or blood. it had lost a couple of feathers.
It couldnt run away so i picked him up and held him close inside my jacket until i got inside. there i took a small box and prepared it with something similar to warm nest made up of cloth.
The wing was still broken, i didnt want to hurt it by trying to push the bones back or something, but it kept trying to flap the wing. I felt for the bones on the wing and tried to find what was wrong, and it looked like it had just been dislocated on a point.
Even though it felt painfull for me aswell i pushed the wing back to the correct place, it was chriping when i was trying to get the wing back, but stopped when it sat correctly again.
The wing started to shake a bit, but he could hold it in properly now. i found some birdseeds and got a small catbowl of water for him. he ate some seeds and then i wrapped him up in some small towel i had pre-heated on a heater.
it looked to calm down and sat inside the little warm cloth nest.

but then i went to get some more seeds for him, while i was in the storage i heard the bird chirping loudly and some ruckus from my room. when i came back i saw my cat with the bird, now dead, in his mouth. I yelled at my cat and got the bird out, the cat probably didnt know what he did wrong.
It was a sad death and i cried loudly it might be because i was like 9 back then but i got a big matchbox to put him in and buried him in the back yard with a little icecream stick sticking up from the ground.
