AND SO IT WAS that Skippy the baby silverback turtle had made it out of his egg, crawled 15 feet of dangerous sand, and braced the deadly waves of what was to become his home. The world seemed a cold and dark place, and he could already see his brothers and sisters failing their attempts to survive in a world with no giant mother to protect them. As Skippy looked back behind him, he took one last look at his shell, what was once his home, that had now been destroyed by him for the chance to brace new frontiers. He once again turned to face the ocean. The vast ocean full of life and death. Creatures that would eventually become his friends, and others that would try to eat him. As he rode the waves into the ocean, the tide constantly fighting him with all it's might, smashing him on the ocean floor over and over again, his will to survive was unchanged. He could see the largest wave he had ever seen in his short life, and swam through it. He was finally in the clear! He began to swim forward to his new home, when he tried to remember his mother. Nothing. He had not a single memory of her. It was here that our hero realized, "Fuck everyone else. I had the hardest childhood!"
