I'm a guy, and I was pretty nerdy and unpopular at 15, so I guess that might have had something to do with it.

Well that story came out of it so its not all bad i guess? Yeah I wasn't even popular, all I did was read and draw. I didn't really get why the guy asked me out at first.

I found, in my high school at least, that if a nerdy boy was attractive, the popular girls still wouldn't date him, but if a nerdy girl was attractive, the popular boys would be all over her.

Haha yeah. Well it was kind of both ways for my highschool, I realized that afterward, it's just that I didn't really have a social life, so I really didn't talk to anyone with the exception of a few people.

I know that feel there.
The only person I really talk to is my girlfriend, and I met her on Tumblr.

That's really sweet, I use tumblr a lot but I never get to talk to guys, and communicating on Tumblr can be kind of annoying and difficult .

To be fair, straight males are a bit of an endangered species on Tumblr.
And yeah, but then we noticed that she only lives about a twenty minute train ride from me, so we just switched to meeting in person and texting.

Yeah I know, I rarely see any straight guys, and if I do, they're always really attractive so that'll be a nope. That is so cute, how long have you guys been going out?

Thanks, and we met each other around April time last year, in july we kinda started going out, but she had a lot of holidays so we only saw each other twice and both our friends didn't know, so we started counting it from Reading Festival at the end of August so that's like, 8 months now.

But yeah, the nicest people on there are always a million miles away, I mean even though the distance between my girlfriend and me isn't perfect, I can still get to hers within 90 minutes.

I live in England but I'm American, my mom works on an Air Force Base. Your from England obviously, because of Reading festival.

And yup, live in a small town just outside of London, spend most of my time hating it and wishing I lived in the city lol.

Well you'd think, but no, my moms actually the school nurse at the high school, so we're civilian, I've been here for 9 years, I was actually born in High Wycomb, but we left after I was born.

spent 2 years in japan besides that but yeah.
