high charisma and good rolls. I quickly end up as the party face
interfere with the horrible tomdark roleplaying through use of bags and strategically placed magic
missiles and hares
MDM loves it. even though grimdark animu heroes keep dwelling the story to in the spotlight as ") MG SC)
GRIM AND EVIL"
puts it right back on track again every time they do
MDM gets fed up with player angst and wants to end the campanion
steps into action
for a long time out of sight ofthe party to gather everything I need to achieve lichaam
is and has always been Lawful Evil
plan in motion to kill offere party in ways that can never be traced back to me, needing the jonnytheg have.
Sstill gaudy and fabulous, they all start to have "accidents" in combat that bring them to lower and lower health as the final dungeon run progresses
Mn the end, it' sjust me and the furry. having killed the dragon BEES that was justifying to protect it' s young.
Shtanding in front ofa mountain offodd
begins into long monologue about how much angst he' s feeling and how evil he is for killing the dragon
overdo him
him on the shoulder
glitter in his eyes
his ass
the final stages of my transformation into a lich
Ddable is silent

">Elton John in gnome form" got me fair and square.

Recently I played a slightly angsty character in a game with my friends. You could call him Barbarian/Sorcerer, Chaotic Neutral. His story was that he was a peasent who's whole life got trampled over by the state (Family executed, himself put in prison and reejected by the community) for an unknown reason, which make him ********* and hateful. In prison he eventually gets powers that let him use force/fire magic, along with two awesome armoured gauntlets as main weapons. He then proceeds to destroy anything remotely related to the state, and plots to bring it down singlehandedly. Of course, deep down he knew that it was impossible, and it would claim his life, but that was his goal: to destroy what destroyed his life or perish trying.

In the end, he learns that he doesn't need to die, and that he can start again, somewhat anyway. He gains the role of Batman more or less: protecting others from suffering his fate, fighting and dealing with a menace no-one else can do and suffering heavily in the process - this, however, is okay, as he knows his sacrifice will do good in the end.

My point being that an angsty character doen't need to be bad, you just have to play your cards (dice) right. Create the character with the goal of evolving from the angst he currently have and let him evolve from angst to something else throughout the game.

This might just be my longest post ever.
