A few months ago, my son revealed he was gay. Upon hearing this I kicked him out of the heme. Several weeks later he reached out to me saying

"Drag" is a form of performance art which involves exaggerated portrayals of male and female sexuality. The link to gay people is purely stereotypical.
"Crossdressing" is the act of wear clothing associated with the opposite gender which is typically considered unusual. Interestingly this is more common amongst straight men than gay men.
