I'm not entirely a Trump supporter but his tax plan is very liberal.
He plans to lower taxes on the poor and tax the rich heavily.
He actually said that people below a certain income wont even have to pay taxes.
He even joked that his tax plan would cost him a lot of money.
That doesnt sound like making the rich richer and the poor poorer to me?
He said that but the actual tax plan published shows it's not true. He'd have corporations taxed about 20 percent even though the current effective tax rate is about 22 percent. He'll also barely decrease the amount of poor people who won't pay taxes from what it already is, and overall his tax plan would cost trillions and he is yet to say what he would cut to make up for the lack of budget.
Like he'd ACTUALLY do that. Even if he wanted to, which that "joke" shows that no man in his position would ever do, there's no way congress would allow it.
Executive orders can be vetoed later on. The president must explain each and every use of one to the congress. Which is why congress shut down for so long.
People wouldn't riot, they'd just bitch about Trump not having the balls to tell congress off. Just like they did with Obama, and Clinton, and at least one of the Bushes when they tried to accomplish that very same tax plan.
This isn't new, and it doesn't mean **** in regards to Trump's concern for the poor, which in the past he has repeatedly shown to not give two ***** about.
Trump is a lot like Romney but without the ability to filter his words.
hey, at least he is talking about what needs to be talked. I haven't seen another (other than bernie sanders, who is the one I'd vote for) talk about taxing the rich.
Jeb was talking about it. Why does everyone ignore Jeb? I like Jeb. Moderation has always been a good thing in the past.
Jeb and Sanders always talk about what needs to be talked about, and their solutions don't sound like they were made by a fourteen year old. And there's hard evidence that some of Sanders solutions would work.
Eh. If 9/11 didn't happen Bush would have likely been known as an education president for his work with the NCLB, controversial but effective in the eyes of the education system.
Jeb also has repeatedly proven that he stands apart from his family and is trying to use his own merits to get the presidency. That's more admirable than I can say about either his father or brother. If he changed his name we would all be sucking his dick right about now.
Sanders and Trump probably won't get anything done due to their more radical beliefs. But Jeb is a man of compromise and flexibility. If only his orating skills were better... he'd be my favorite. As it stands right now though, even he doesn't add up to my admittedly high expectations.
The **** trail goes back all the way to his father.
I don't know enough about the US education system but don't people always complain it's **** ? (and in the case of upper education, that it makes them debt slaves?)
I honestly don't know if Jeb would be as bad as his family, but I don't trust his ability to stop being taken hostage and used as a puppet.
Ron Paul is still the only real, make America a paradise, option.
The NCLB, though I hate it with every fiber of my being, did do a lot for improving teacher and school standards. It did nothing with higher education, though.
From what I've seen of him, Jeb's actually estranged from his family. He's apparently paving his career with his own money and not his father's.
The first Bush only messed up an already bad situation. In terms of presidency he'd get a C-. Not the best guy in the world, but not the worst president we've had recently cough carter
His plan to build the wall and make Mexico pay for it will double their deficit likely leading to even more problems with Mexico's strained government spending that they use to barely keep control of cartels (with our help).
This destabilization could cause even more illegal immigration from Mexico as people get the hell out of the sinking boat and go to America. So either we pay for it ourselves (which would be a big expenditure) or we invest even more in helping the Mexican government fight the war against the cartels after we get them to cut their budgets. This is not assisted by the fact that the most recent government budget has already cut law enforcement spending.
Bottom line, the Mexican government will have to cut so much funding it will pretty much be useless across the board as the systems they have in place aren't exactly golden to being with. The only way a government will willingly double a deficit is if it gets strong armed into it, which I doubt people will enjoy strong arming our neighbor into ruin over a wall. The wall it a terrible idea and will cause more problems than it solves.
I don't want anymore illegal immigration but looking at the finances of the wall meant to stop illegal immigration it will most likely increase it by a **** ton. No amount of his memes will allow me to overlook this blatantly terrible idea.
We have a yuuge trade imbalance with Mexico to the tune of $55(ish) billion dollars. If we place an additional tariff of 10% on Mexican goods we will recover the price of the wall within 5 years. I know that this doesn't factor in decreased trade due to the tariff, but I'm sure the final rate can be negotiated so that we get the money for the wall without completely devastating the Mexican economy.
Trump has signaled a noninterventionist (our at least non-"boots on the ground") policy towards the Middle East which will free our troops to man and patrol the wall.
Something needs to be done about illegal immigration and immigration in general or we will face demographic annihilation. sounds super racist and edgy, I know
No, NAFTA makes too much money for both American companies and Mexico for tariffs to be taken seriously, don't get me wrong NAFTA has its problems, it displaces Mexican farmers and can both cost and create jobs for Americans depending on how its handled. But the businesses that has been built between Canada, America, and Mexico using NAFTA have become essential in many parts of life due to their ability to keep prices down. I don't see Trump who, no matter how seriously you take him, is considered a joke to most corporations that don't share his interests being able to go against major lobbying like that. Plus it would require renegotiating NAFTA, and if that isn't a Pandora's box in itself you're telling me he want's to renegotiate it in our favor? Not likely.
Regardless 6.4 is still over a fifth of their deficit, still a humongous increase in spending and no matter how much you force Mexico they won't pay it because the budget cuts that would result from that is still enough to destroy what little balance there is in Mexico. And even if Trump is able to force them to take what he makes into the lesser of two evils, either maybe being destroyed by tariffs or by expenditure that doesn't go anywhere near befitting their own people, it would make America actually and unabashedly be considered the biggest pieces of **** in the international theater for forcing them to make that choice which will not assist relations with other countries. yeah maybe you don't care but imagine other countries starting to shy away from trading with the US after seeing us spin it around so forcefully and twist someone's arm for money using trade agreements, people would think twice because they wouldn't want that to happen to them whether or not we would actually do it and we could miss out on serious markets
Over 10% of Mexico's population lives within our borders, costing our government billions of dollars a year. How is that not being the biggest piece of **** in the international theater? Many of your positions seem to be arguing from the perspective that Mexico is a great neighbor and any sort of push back against their policy of allowing their citizens to trespass into the US is the ultimate dick move.
Mexico is taking advantage of the US. A little bit of hardball would not be uncalled for.
Regardless, do you notice how the only thing we are really arguing about is who is going to pay for the wall? Not if the wall should be built, how it would be built, or what effect it would have, just how to pay for it. Scott Adam of Dilbert fame has a great blog post on how Trump gets people to "think beyond the sale". I think that most people have severly underestimated Trump's capabilities. blog.dilbert.com/post/126589300371/clown-genius
Well Mexico doesn't let them, they choose to. And the sale is extremely important when we are considering building one of the biggest man made structures on the face of the earth. I do not understand why you wouldn't be concerned with how we are going to pay for that or whether or not it could literally destroy a country, I'm not saying that it is the best country in the world or that it's great that they have no control over their populace leaving to a country that isn't as **** but I'm not going to cap the country right next to us in the knee, you know why? Because that would cause a massive influx of legal and illegal immigration as people leave a financially ruined country and come to the US which is what we're trying to avoid. The coyotes are already a massive and complex organization, imagine how powerful they will become when a huge influx of immigrants want to leave the country due to the instability brought on by an increased deficit where the money went to another country. The whole plan is a recipe for disaster.
I think you just went full retard and just showed your true colors. I thought you wanted to have a serious discussion, but you bring weak points. Just because there are mexicans who have established in the US doesn't mean that the US spoonfeeds them and basically sends them a check in the mail.
I will tell you that illegals do pay taxes and i will prove it to you. Most illegals pay taxes using an ITIN number given by the IRS. One of the first things an illegal does when he gets to the US is get an ITIN number
www.irs.gov/Individuals/Individual-Taxpayer-Identification-Number-ITIN
"An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) is a tax processing number issued by the Internal Revenue Service. It is a nine-digit number that always begins with the number 9 and has a range of 70-88 in the fourth and fifth digit. Effective April 12, 2011, the range was extended to include 900-70-0000 through 999-88-9999, 900-90-0000 through 999-92-9999 and 900-94-0000 through 999-99-9999. IRS issues ITINs to individuals who are required to have a U.S. taxpayer identification number but who do not have, and are not eligible to obtain a Social Security Number (SSN) from the Social Security Administration (SSA).
ITINs are issued regardless of immigration status because both resident and nonresident aliens may have a U.S. filing or reporting requirement under the Internal Revenue Code."
Just in 2011 the IRS collected around 11. 2 billion dollars in taxes from illegals. Now I will tell you that many illegals own businesses which contribute to the economy etc etc. The whole "ILLEGALS DON'T PAY TAXES' is just a half truth. Obviously some don't pay taxes, but so do a lot of american citizens.
People make Trump as some sort of genius, but he is just a bored rich kid with a big ego while sweet talking the south with casual racism.
"Allowing"
They stop them the instant they see them. They can't just put patrols across the entire ******* border. **** , the US can't do that themselves and is in a way better position to do so. Are you drunk or something?
www.globalsecurity.org/security/systems/mexico-wall.htm
An interesting read, and I would like to point out that a lot of pockets are going to get fat if we do build the wall because we're talking about billions. So on top of the money we have spent we will be spending an additional 6 billion at least.
I suspect people will start building tunnels like the cartels do and it's going to get worse. Why don't we reform the immigration laws to allow people to come to the US legally without having to wait years and years, or maybe we would get rid of the cartels by not snorting so much coke. Or we could aid mexico more instead of giving billions of dollars to israel. Or we could use those 6 billion to improve education on the US, since right now most high school students can't even do basic algebra.
Building a wall is just a stupid idea and basically a ban aid to a bigger problem. If we fix mexico's problem with the cartels, Mexico's standard of living will increase and illegals will stop coming.
And to finish up, I think forcing mexico to pay for a wall would be a gigantic dick move and would basically be a free pass for Putin to come rolling with money (he is already making deals with south america and is creeping north). And i don't think Mexico having mexico get real friendly with the Russians can be good at all.
Basically building a wall is just a stupid idea that common people understand, but in reality the issue and consequences are more complex. Obviously candidates like to bring up a wall because even a kid can come up with that one, but as soon as you tell americans about fixing immigration laws then they don't know what the hell those laws are.
The CIA leads our drug cartels you moron. (I'm sorry for the insult, I' just tired that this isn't common knowledge).
The Sinaloa and Zeta cartel are eliminating all the competition that didn't run their money through the "correct" banks (those in bed with the CIA).
And our government isn't really fighting them. Like, they are, because they have to, but they only kill low to middle men. Our government is in bed too with cartels.
Dude we're close and we're stable, it's not that they want to **** us over it's that if we were to do this we would be the only near piece of dry land for the drowning nation. The could easily just use what little they have left to pay for the Cartels to sneak them across. The fallout from creating the wall would most likely lead to an increase in cartel power and subsequently illegal immigration. Our problem is our stability and economy, we may have our qualms but we are an amazing feat for other countries and they come here to get a piece of the american dream, if you want to blame something our advertising of freedom might be able to take a good part of it.
Is it really "protectionist" to match trade tariffs? i.e. China charges the US 10% on Intel CPUs so we charge them 10% on Chinese computer parts? From what I understand Trump wants to increase our tariffs to match those of our trading partners.
Remember though that it's not the Chinese who are going to be paying for the tariffs; the US consumers would be the ones who are impacted most in the end.
He's a CEO, not a politician, this is a country, not a company.
He doesn't fit.
In this case, it just doesn't work.
It's funny now, he's a joke, "Ha ha, look everybody, Trump the Clown's honking his nose again!", he's a circus ride, but when it gets down to brass tacks, we need someone who'll look out for the people, not his own wallet, which is what Trump'll do, because he could make major bank by being corrupt in office. Who should go into office? I don't know, all of the candidates suck, Bernie Sanders made a good point here and there, but I doubt he'd stand up for himself, Ben Carson is making the same insane points as Trump, but he's black and whispering while doing so, Hillary Clinton is just stupid.
All I know is, I don't want to ever have to say the words "President Trump."
Honestly, didn't know that about him being a governor, but shouldn't a union leader have the same skills as a businessman? Wait a minute, Trump's a businessman!
Ah, I see. Well then, who would you like to see as president? I kinda do want Sanders, but it seems like he'll bankrupt the country with social programs, and I kinda want Trump because he at least seems honest about what, and who, he his is about.
Dude, I don't know, I'm not a politician, and my ideas are probably laughably naive, so if I were running, by some unseen fate, I hope I wouldn't win, because I'd probably do more harm than good because I've got 0 political knowledge.
I didn't say "Bernie Sanders", and I'm not going to say, "Bernie Sanders", fact of the matter is, while he has a few good points, the man's spine is ******* gone, because a bunch of dindus hijacked his rally.
If I said Bernie Sanders had enough willpower to be president, **** , I'd beat myself with a newsprint.
But, since all the candidates are ****** , I don't even know who I'd prefer to be in office, not Trump or Carson because it's basically Orange Trump and the new Black Trump, whisperer edition, and Hillary Clinton is just...no.
And Jeb! doesn't seem like he'll do jack **** , so I dunno, man.
It's either Trump or Carson. Mostly has a lot to do with their backgrounds (Large-scale development and Neurosurgery, respectively). In their minds whatever they do has to work, or everyone involved suffers. So they make sure their plans can work.
That, and they're complete outsiders. Makes them a threat to the status quo. Washington needs a kick in the ass, that's for sure...
Jeb is a Bush. We can't have another Bush in office, as he'll likely to drag this country into another War on Whatever and sign in a few laws that erode our Constitutional freedoms just a tiny bit more.
Your first point makes sense, and yes, Washington needs a good ol' fashioned boot to the booty, but I want a President to earn his place by his merit as a president, not because he's an outsider.
You don't understand. Career politicians are broken fools, the world is nothing but a game to them, and they're making bolder and bolder proposals every month. Outsiders are more than necessary at this point.
Damn right it is. Hopefully they all die before they can drive this country into the ground. Old people are always bitterly possessive like that. These dinosaurs need to go...
I think the problem is that corruption has so thoroughly ********** our political system, that we're only getting shills who step up in place as the "hero to save America."(See: Donald J. Trump), when in reality, they're just furthering their own gain and ******** on the average people further. And until someone who'll actually have the nuts to stamp it out steps up, it's gonna get worse and worse by the year.
It's the system itself that really corrupts people. Lobbying. Market Research. There are some things that you just shouldn't build a business around or bring money into. Politics is one of those things.
And that's the problem, every career politician has a price tag in his Armani suit, ready to play mouthpiece for whatever corporate ******** who buys him, it's like the Muppets, except the Muppets don't affect the wellbeing of millions of Americans.
But it's always been like this, I can't sit here and say, "Oh, yeah, back in the days of Kennedy, things weren't like this.", because ****** been ****** for a good long while, now, that's why the corruption is so deep-seated.
Look at ******* Nixon, for God's sake, he's the biggest, clearest example of corruption.
I like his policies, get that cancer known as Obamacare out, and fix it, keep the Second Amendment in place, freedom of religion, the way he wants to fix the budget.
Mass Media's ******** is doing nothing but turning the light away from important issues.
The threat of ISIS is very real, don't get me wrong, but asking them nothing but dumb questions like, "What about ISIS? How bout ISIS? ISIS, am I right?", is just ******* dumb.
Hey man I'm already voting for Trump. Not because I think "he's gunna keep these turrurists out of 'merica!" But because I think he's smarter than anyone gives him credit for and can effectively manage the social politics of today. That and he won't try to remove the first Amendment like Cuck Sanders inevitably will.
We already know Sanders caves to, and sides with SJWs. That debacle at his rally in which he let two screeching banshees take over his speech. The latter is attested to by the fact that he believes in a wage gap. He sympathizes with SJWs. When they push for censorship, so will he.
So, what, he doesn't handle things belligerently, whether or not he handles them properly? The day after the Seattle incident both the left and right media basically lynched the two women, and it later turned out that they weren't even BLM reps, they were two random cunts that were headhunted for their sheer aggressive attitudes. It was basically a ploy by the Clinton administration, same with that Deport Racism crap.
"Sanders = SJW" is no different from "Trump = fascist". It's slander, plain and simple. You're lying about him supporting censorship.
I'm not lying. About anything. I'm passing to people the conclusions I've drawn from seeing what he supports. But since you seem to want to accuse me of slander I'll give you something: you're a dumb bitch.
Then you really are stupid enough to believe what you say? It sounds like the rambling of someone who has no experience with the real world outside of your computer and thinks under age 25 = Tumblr user.
He also doesn't want to help keep jobs in America, he only wants the illegals out because they're illegals (which isn't an invalid reason, but nonetheless) while Sanders at least opposes open borders immigration for this reason.
I'm sure the feelings police at msnbc and HuffPo have been making up ******** about him, but this does not mean there isn't valid criticism of him. I honestly don't see him as much different from Clinton.
Asking, not mandating, that tech companies remove terrorist recruitment material is not censorship. Is it "censorship" to launch cyberattacks at enemy websites? I don't hear many people bitching that the US military would literally murder the people who are members of ISIS if give the opportunity. Are their lives less important than their speech?
And how do you think terrorist recruitment works, some secret Hollywood voodoo ******** ? ISIS uses regular social media and even has a ******* magazine. They communicate the same way everyone else does. The only way to prevent terrorists from communicating online is to prevent everyone from doing so. Period. He is an imbecile that doesn't understand how things work because he has never needed to; it doesn't make him a bad person, but it does make him one unsuitable for office.
"Are their lives less important than their speech?"
How is this any different from porn? Most social media websites prohibit the posting of pornography. Why can't they prohibit the posts from literal, self-identified ISIS members?
This isn't the US government doing the censorship. Hell, censorship may not even happen. His quote was along the lines of "We should talk to smart people in Silicon Valley and try to come up with a solution for preventing terrorist recruitment"
The first video in my OP covers this at about 16:30.
A private entity deciding their own terms of use is not the same thing as the government telling them what they can and can't do. His quote is exactly what I'm talking about, he and most other politicians think computers are magical. It implies he'll do either nothing or far too much.
"The first video in my OP covers this at about 16:30."
I respect your own views, but I can't listen to more than a minute of Molyneux without wanting to punch a hole in my screen.
No, but this shouldn't be prevented by censoring citizens, which is literally impossible to achieve domestically. It should be prevented by hunting down and putting bullets in the propagandists.
I read the Newsmax one and it was only debunking false claims about Trump, which is fair and good, he obviously doesn't deserve libel. But when Trump actually does say something awful or hilarious, the conservative media puts it down the memory hole.
Basically, people want Trump to be something he simply isn't: an enemy of the establishment.
Putin's not exactly evil but he's certainly an anti-hero.
You like him, but he does a LOT of questionable **** . Him and Trump could very well be best friends and rulers of the world until they both kill each other.
He doesn't follow up on any of the policies that are written in detail on his platform. Anytime he's asked about something in detail about the issues, he throws up half-assed answers or equivocated repeats of canned statements One of the first examples that showed me Trump wasn't the real deal was his policy on Snowden; www.youtube.com/watch?v=ex7d-izDwzw .
There was a point in one of the debates where he was questioned about something he wrote on his own website regarding calling Marc Rubio 'Mark Zuckerberg's personal senator', and he denied it ever existed in the first place and simply trash talked the moderator for "not fact-checking". Meanwhile it turns out his website did have it written as it was questioned on, and the only reason Trump slid was sheerly through intimidation. www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2015/oct/28/donald-trump/donald-trump-didnt-realize-his-own-website-called-/
I remember I wanted to think Trump was the real deal when I saw some of his statements regarding a People Magazine interview back in '98 (the REAL interview, not the bogus fake that was spread throughout Facebook) where he sensibly critcized both parties for being too far off spectrum, and there needed to be a third intervening party to bring it all back together.
But as people have shown examples of in this thread and in what I posted, Trump's not the golden savior his supporters make him out to be. People need to stop trying to render politicians as messiahs because they have a few tangential policies that are good and actually look at everything around them.
He doesn't understand or know about the basic documents and agreements that the US absolutely has to uphold like NAFTA, the Geneva Convention, and the US Constitution.
You've got some validity, but at least the other Republican nominees weren't thinking of imposing trade legislation on mexico so it's government would pay for a border wall
He asked for a valid argument, I gave one. Don't be mad because you think Trump's gonna be the messiah of white America. The man's a CEO, not a politician, and it's more than likely he won't accomplish **** other than ******* over Americans worse, between inaction and stupid ass actions.
If you aren't smart enough to know what the people want to hear then you certainly aren't smart enough to understand what the people want.
Hey, I couldn't give a damn about the elections thus far. The only candidate I only sorta like is Sanders, cus free school and I doubt he could do that anyways, so whatever. All the candidates can go right to hell, whether they're wrong or not.
Bruh I feel you. I don't even vote and personally think everything will still be the same amount of ****** no matter who gets elected. You just got me laughing because your argument is the simplest form of rejection. And laughing still from all the butthurt trump supporters because you insulted his hair-do. Shows you the integrity of these extremist trump supporting morons lmfao
I think we both can agree that Trump is primarily fueled by ego. Do you think his ego would allow him to do a ****** job as president? I really don't think he is in it for personal gain, besides in the ego department.
Politicians are one of the most mistrusted, hated, and criticized groups of people on the planet. Are you saying you would rather have a worthless career politicians instead of a wildly successful businessman who has created thousands of jobs and managed an global corporation?
i think he's primarily fueled by power. he's got billions and international deals and good public opinion from the apprentice and all the being in the public eye.
that being said he's looking for more power and the only thing he doesnt have is political power. being president more than sets you up. sure the pay is negligable (250k/year) but having the power of the military, rights to veto bills, set a political agenda and complete it, to be able to write a budget regardless of whether or not it has to be approved by congress.
basically he's looking for political gains people like you and i couldnt imagine. the kind of set up and power you get from that is beyond dollars or polls or any of that

i use to think trump was a foolish candidate and u guys (im european) would be fcking yourselves over but the more i look at trump, the more i want to see him elected. i think its just out of pure curiosity of what he MIGHT do. i honestly don't think he would mess up that bad. plus, although he might not be good at accomplishing his goals, he has good intentions at heart. its better than having any of the democratic or other republican candidates run the country. if i were murican, i would vote for him.
yes thinking freedom of speech is foolish, trying to censer the media, and trying to keep people trying to find a better life from coming into our country is what made us great......totally, oh and also santa and the toothfairy are real
ah, I see. you only know trump through the mainstream media which purposely tries to ruin his campaign by mis-information, do some googling and get to know trump and his politics
(official trump pages, no mainstream media ******** etc, watch some speeches and debates hes been in)
i dont really listen to mainstream media, **** i dont even have cable, i get my info from a mix of sources both liberal and conservative and use google to see who is ************ the most, In his exact words, no twist or reading into it he said people who believe in freedom of speech are foolish, he said that after he said parts of the internet should be shut down effectively censoring what he would deem necessary, and by not allowing Muslims to enter the united states (or people from Muslim countries) he would be unjustly attacking the melting pot that america is, was, and always will be. (and don't give me that BS about Jimmy Carter doing the same thing because he didn't). no mainstream media here, just reason, facts, and words from the horses mouth.
Hilary is the only one running that has both experience and a chance in hell of winning. Don't really see any other candidates getting the nomination besides her and Trump.
I like Bernie's ideals, but the ways he means to reach his goals would cause major economic issues. I'd prefer a more realistic candidate, even if she does sway with popular opinion.
i'm not entirely sure about his economic policies but he's the only candidate who isnt going to intentionally bend us over a barrel, and **** maybe it will work, maybe we need something new because what we have been doing since bush got elected aint working
alright fine m8, give me a list of things Trump has said that he wants to do and then give me evidence, either from the Constitution or precedent court case which says that his idea is illegal.
"Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."
The president is not a king they really can't do anything effectively with out the rest of the governments consent and cooperation. HAHHAHAAHAHAH THAT DUMB MOTHER ****** THINKS US CODE MEANS A DAMN THING HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
I always thought that the UN symbol looked like a reticule or crosshairs set on the world while peace (symbolized by the olive branches) is on the outside looking in
how many of you non-ironically want him as president kind of scares me
jeb bush is just as ****
and hillary as well
but the GOP doesn't have to vote ******* trump. what the **** .
Come up and make your case in the sticky. I have not heard a single relevant detail on why Trump shouldn't be the next President. Just fear-mongering and media sensationalism.
Personally for me it's a bad thing how ******* capitalistic he thinks. We really don't need the US as a Company. Not saying he's going to do it, it's just a possiblity.
Else I don't actually know, I just dislike how quickly he changes his beliefs
long but worth discussion on why trump probably isn't the best idea even in the eyes of Republicans
Dude, Crowder? my ***** , I subscribed to him on youtube back when he was actually funny. I even got a little thank you note on my profile.
I saw this in my feed but I haven't watched it yet. I'll have to check it out.
I think a business person is exactly what America needs. I think that the reaction of the media towards Trump tells us that he is exactly who the elites don't want, which is good enough for me.
As a republican, I don't really support him for president, as he's incredibly weak in places we need strength, but darn it, I love him for what he's doing to the elections in general.
He's making fools of media everywhere, causing once comfortable politicians to start sweating, and stealing the title of "Next Political Celebrity" from both Obama and Hillary. He's amplifying and directing people's anger at the broken system and making many more people than before get involved and educated about the issues.
In the end, as elections near, you're going to see Trump's numbers fluctuate more and the runners up will start really gaining traction as it starts coming down to the wire and less candidates are in the mix. I don't expect Trump to win through his controversy, but he's going to severely influence the end result of this election and future politics in general, no doubt, and I dunno, I wouldn't mind him in the next cabinet.
It's currently a toss up between Rubio, Cruz, and Carson in my eyes. And I don't necessarily mind either of them taking point for the primary.
Each has their good points, and their aggressiveness is generally more well received than Bush, Christie, and Paul. Rubio has his inexperience, and he concerns me with his continuation of info gathering policies, but he has a good understanding of foreign affairs and presents his ideas clearly and to the point. I love Cruz's debating skills and deal-making skills (would make a great Sec. of State) but is a bit short-sighted, dodges questions too much, and becomes condescending and reverts to a lawyer when under pressure. Carson is surprising me as time goes on at how increasingly aggressive he's becoming, and is shaping up to be the most aggressive wartime president of the group, but his understanding of the flawed healthcare service and other bureaucratic associations in the higher up areas, and what they're doing wrong is a necessary thing to have to reform them properly.
In a perfect world, I'd like Rubio as president with most of the candidates currently in his cabinet, but there's a lot of good possibilities to come of this. I can't see Hillary get over her controversial history all the way through, and I expect her dragging down a few people with her when it cracks down.
Cruz is a religious nuthead.
Carson is a dumbass.
Rubio idk too much about him, but for sone reason i dont like him.
Either Rand Paul or Trump. Id be happy if either of them got elected and paul doesnt have a chance, so Trump it is.
Why Trump? Because he is the definition of a strong leader who wont back down and only stump his opponents. The liberal media tries to kill him but they cant because he is too loud for them. I like Trump. Never does he script his speeches and i agree with a lot of his statements except him being prolife and religious. Which i dont think he is but acts like it for votes.
I like his business tactics and im waiting for him to make America great again like Hitler did Germany. He is pro gun and pro military like everything i stand for. Trump all the way.
>like Hitler did Germany
By imposing totalitarianism, militarizing everything, removing "undesirables" via literal genocide and starting a massive aggressive war?
Jesus Christ, dude.
Also how are Rand Paul and Donald Trump even remotely similar
You've got to be a troll.
Yes, all of those things are bad, and you can't be a libertarian if you support them.
Totalitarianism is literally the opposite of libertarianism.
"Like Hitler did Germany"
Hitler drove Germany into the ******* ground.
The reason why Germany became so strong under him was that he didnt give a **** about financial policy. He took up a huge amount of debt, used it to fund the army, and give people jobs and grant crazy much welfare to the people of Germany to garner popular support. Similar to what the socialists under Mitterand did in France in the early 80s (which failed massively since he couldnt attack anyone to finance further investments) Then he went to war and financed his country by looting and stealing. In the end half of the German industry was dismantled and taken to Russia, and the other half was burnt to the ground. Is that something to aspire to?
It amuses me when people compare Trump and Hitler. Hitler was a nationalistic socialist. Trump is as capitalistic as you get it. They are on opposite sides of the political spectrum when it comes to economic policy.
Cruz as secretary of State? He's a tea party whack who's hated on both sides of the isle. If American politicians don't even want to work with him what makes you think a foreign diplomat would?
And as an info, i'm not very involved in US politics as I am from Germany. Just my opinion. There are no real facts to disprove that one or another candidate shouldn't be president, i mean give me facts about Bernie Sanders?
I can also just say "no that's not true" just like you're probably planning on doing
I'm finding that the only people who like to scream about how Trump is an idiot and you're an asshole for voting for him while never making an actual argument besides "He's an idiot!" have never lived in or even been to the US
It's kinda funny how non-Americans like to talk about how bad America is and how X is so much better, yet you still try and get involved in our politics like somehow it's going to directly affect you
Because he's repeatedly been caught in blatant lies. Things that no one can even pass off as misinterpretations. Not that I'm expecting a candidate to even be 100% honest, but how could anyone ever vote for a obvious liar? It just makes the country look worse.
There are no stellar candidates, but almost all of them are better than Trump.
Trump is a populist who's running on pure emotion. He knows almost nothing of substance and can barely answer a concrete question about his own positions.
Seriously, watch any of his debates or interviews and count how many times he says things like "we're going to have to look at a lot of different things" or "the big problem in America is political correctness" or "I'm just gonna do it". Aka completely meaningless platitudes.
couldn't the same argument be made about obama the year before he got elected? 90% of the time all he did was talk about "change" "how america needs change" etc.
I'll admit I wasn't old enough to vote in 2008, but at least Obama had actual political experience and knew something about the issues at the time.
There's a difference between repeating political slogans at rallies or during speeches and giving slogan-like answers to specific questions.
I don't fault Trump for saying "Making America Great Again" per se, but I do fault him for not being able to answer questions properly when they're asked of him, in contrast to nearly all of the other candidates. Granted, all politicians have their own ways of dodging questions at times, but Trump does it more than anyone else I can think of despite being "not a politician".
For instance, look at this video from the first debate. Trump is asked twice to back up his claims that Mexico is intentionally sending it's ********* criminals as illegal immigrants to America. Tell me if you think he answered the question: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUFkNbDYfQ4&t=6m20s
Here's another of his answers, this time about the TPP www.youtube.com/watch?v=jC0wgWnvL6c&t=59m15s
I don't take issue with the stance, but I really don't think he said anything of substance in that answer, do you?
There are a handful of topics he does give straight answers on (his own record as a businessman, his tax plan, etc) but I very rarely find myself impressed with anything he says.
All this and I haven't even mentioned that he's a colossal asshole and legitimately sexist.
just fyi, I linked to the exact time in the videos I'm referring to, if you happen to get curious. Of course I didn't expect you to sift through hours-long debates.
To be honest, the only one who doesn't have a significant problems seems to be Rubio, but the trouble with him is that I'm not sure he's a serious contender. He definitely wasn't in the last election.
Trump has a couple good ideas, but a lot of bad ones and basically no plan beyond "Make America Great Again".
Carson is soft-spoken and seems honest and has a lot of ideas I agree with, but he keeps saying retarded stuff which is going to cost him any chance of winning if he keeps it up.
Sanders seems like he genuinely cares about the country and has great ideas, but the problem is that putting his ideas into action would be nearly impossible without suffering a significant blow to the economy.
Clinton just sucks all around, everyone knows that.
Finally, Cruz doesn't seem very genuine, but some of his proposed policies are okay I guess.I guess that he just doesn't seem Presidential material to me.
Well the rest of the world was laughing like hell when Bush ran for president. We were like "Okay, okay, but seriously now, it's time to pick a president"
America went "Yeah we want this one" and you chose Bush.
Then you chose Bush again.
I can't stress this enough, you elected ******* Bush.
I don't know **** about Sanders besides the fact that 4chan /pol/ and FunnyJunk bootleg /pol/ hates him for spotting injustice against black communities and siding with those. And because Trump is best meme But then, I don't really care, since it's not concerning my country.
But I'll still give the bloke some respect, still. From an outsider's point of view, american politics seems like something you can't access to unless sucking the medias dick or being born a millionaire. Sanders is none of these.
But acntname just went full tryhard by giving the way Bernie is a cuck while there wasn't any reference to the guy. Timing is everything when you meme in such threads.
Blacks don't face **** in America, they are too busy bein gangsta and living off welfare checks to actually work and make their lives any better, like every other group in America has.
I know what a cuck is (and unless you know Bernie's sex life you can't say he's not one), you're new to the internet aren't you? We use it as a general term for someone who is weak and submissive.
"(and unless you know Bernie's sex life you can't say he's not one)"
so because we know you can say that he is? what is logic? no im not new to the internet, you faggots are trying to hard to force the word that its pathetic. also, its not "we" its you and faggots like you who try to use it in the way that you are saying. Bernie aint a cuck even by your standards.
>Dindu lives matter ***** come up to a Bernie Sanders rally and demand to be given the stage
>Bernie says "o-okay" and steps down
>Bernie stands there like a cuck with his head down whilst dindu ***** hijack his rally
>"Bernie's not a cuck you guys"
You are clearly a ******* SJW, I love how much being called out for the cucks you are makes you squirm. Bernie is a weak cuck, get used to it.
calling my a sjw? the **** ? lableing is such a pathetic strategy akin to calling someone a communist in the 80's or a witch in salems day.
you are making up assumptions to further your own personal beliefs..im not "squirming". your comment is litterally filled with buzzwords found in fox news reporting, you couldnt have a civilized conversation to save your life.
back at the matter at hand though...how does that make him a cuck? he never said okay first of all. All thought the ****** lives matter is the one thing i hate about him.
He allowed just a couple of people to hijack his rally, and use the stage to talk about a load of ******** which had nothing to do with his campaign just because "oh they're I have to shut up because muh racism"
CUCK
THROUGH
AND
THROUGH
But If he never even said okay and still got thrown off the stage at his own rally by a couple protesters that just proves how ******* weak he is.
just **** off with the "cuck" word...alot of the faggots here talk like alphas online but are most likely beta perma-virgins in real life.
What Bernie did on that stage was ******** , i like Bernie but i think he should have handled it differently. That being said, The ****** lives matter movement disagrees with what those apes did on stage. Bernie most likely let them do it because he is still not as prevelant in the media as hilllary, therefore if he did do something it would have been easily spun by the deomcratic media (was spun anyway by the far right media).and No he didnt get thrown off stage, bernie stepped off on his own. You are using fox news buzzowrds, you are better than that i would assume....but nope you gay.
Yeah, he stepped off because, guess what, he is a cuck and just loves to be humiliated in public. Why does the word 'cuck' offend you so much? This can only be projection on your part.
this is a **** tier assumption. you are literally making **** up. "cuck" doesnt offend me, re read my comment...im against the misuse of the word cuck..i have no problem calling a cuck a cuck if he is an actual cuck. but im not for butchering or forcing definitions on words out of thing air. no doubt you are a kissless virgin in real life.
oooh im so sorry if im stepping into your territory "of the internet". Guess what you homo there are going to be people who disagree with you, sorry to offend your "internet culture".
I'm not a cuck bro. Neither am i salty. Seems you are trying some kind of gay tctic you developed by being on the internet for too long. now, try to describe how the inside of a vagina feels like.
What did I lose exaclty? You haven't proven to me that Bernie isn't a cuck, you just adjusted your glasses and told me "akchtually that'ss not the correct definition of cuck" as if anyone on this site gives a **** . Everyone uses cuck like this, you only make yourself look stupid when you try and defend the position you've taken.
On top of that you haven't disputed that Bernie is a weak cuck who bows down to dindu retards, and you got all salty about the fact that I was wasn't using a word the way you wanted me to, like a toddler or an SJW might. 0/10 trolling, couldn't contain my sides.
Wanna know the cringe comp to beat all cringe comps?
When 10 pictures depicting how a meme is the primary qualification for a man to be in charge of over 200 nuclear warheads, the national space program, the military spending budget, and have the healthcare of millions of impoverished Americans at the mercy of his actions.
I think he's an awful president, but his semantics are entertaining and I would pay top dollar to hear from him as an angry talkshow host.
He's just got the right amount of flair for TV.
Truthfully the only way the government can stay in power is by limiting ours.
Our current technology has given us the power to do impossible things beyond their control.
The NSA isn't just about counter-terrorism, but it's also for suppression of its own citizens and it could be possible to label any rebellion as terrorism
Hmm? What do you mean by that?
Is there something in Akito: The Exiled that changes something at the end?
I don't know what the TV broadcast but as far as I know there's just 1 ending.
Eh, I have yet to see anything hinting at the being an official video nor is there any conclusive evidence that it's specifically him.
I'm certainly hopeful and choose to follow that as my headcanon but I can't accept it as fact.
You pay our taxes and your beach pebbles bow to the stars and stripes every morning at 6 when Reveille is played and the flag goes up.
We ****** your favorite little meme island in the ass and tourism. Natives hate it. But you wouldn't know that since you told us all you are from Florida.
Idunno. All I know is that I'm in the draft, and I'm registered to vote. I never even got a say in it. Just got that **** in the mail the day I turned 18.
