For those who don't want to read, the Vikings essentially took a bunch of ships to Spain, where they started terrorizing civilians and they took over the area. When Muslim reinforcements came, they laid watch to them from a church steeple (which gave them a very high vantage point). When they saw that the Vikings were on the move, they ambushed them and won. After, they continued to advance through Spain, clearing out the Vikings and subsequently reclaiming the area.
