Yeah, there's probably some rules against it.

Read through Da Rules and he a wish can't interfere with anothers domain, so only Death can grant that wish.
Although he could use the rule free wish muffin thingy.

There was that one episode where they ripped a page out of the rule book...

In the fairly odd baby episode they read through some of Da Rules and it says you can't wish somebody back to life.

Not necessarily; it just means that they'll die of another cause. My take on it:

Somebody goes to the hospital and finds out that their cancer has "magically disappeared". In elation, they run out of the hospital cheering...only to get run over by a bus after jumping into the middle of the street and being killed that way.

Sounds like a case of Karma on her period.
