1st set: True. It's kinda ****** up.

2nd set: American Football is many times rougher than soccer, that's why football players have to wear protective gear- before helmets and padding were incorporated many players got fatal injuries while playing the game.

3rd set: Creationism stopped being taught in public school quite a while ago.

4th set: With our how high our taxes are we might as well incorporate free health care, we just haven't yet.

5th set: They attacked us first (remember 9/11? yeah, that happened), however we did spend much more time and money than we should/could have.

6th set: We currently have a team of highly trained cryptologists trying to figure out what in the **** you just said.

2nd: And American Football is just a softened version of Rugby.
Your point?

4th: A lot of people in America are actively AGAINST helthcare. That's just dumb as ****.

5th: 2 gulf wars happen. Then 9/11 happenes. "OMG THEY ATTACKED US OUT OF NOWHERE FOR NO REASON!!!" Get the **** out.

6th: Country of freedom - bans abortions and homosexual marriage.

2: I have nothing but respect for Rugby players, that's why my comparison was with soccer.

4: A minority of people are actively against healthcare.

5: We were just sticking up for Kuwait who was unjustly attacked by Iraq.

6th: Abortions are completely legal, and ghey marriage is legal in a few states, and will be in the rest of the country before the end of the year.

Wait, so rougher means it better?
Not to mention rugby players are essentially facing the same risks, but don't wear all the padding.

Can you explain to me why they don't wear protection?

I'm fairly sure because to some degree it interferes with how it is played, because you can only make certain passes at certain times full helmets and padding would interfere with that.

Good point, but I don't see not wearing padding as a good thing.

I have nothing but respect for Ruby players.

Also, rougher does mean better. That's why no one likes golf.

I like Golf.
Golf is fun, it takes skill.
I think that whether a game is rough or not is not the defining factor in whether it is good game.

I said that as a joke for the most part.

It's all opinion though, I've watched plenty of soccer and it's just plain boring to me.

2nd: What? If it's rougher, it's a better sport? What?
3rd: Can't comment, but from outside it seems that creationism is supported a bit too much.
4th: That doesn't even disprove his point.
5th. How many people died, around 3000, right? Stop clinging to 9/11.
6th: It's not a free country if you ban gay marriage and abortions.

2nd: Yes of course. That's why no one likes golf.

3rd: No you can't comment. Outside views are skewed by exaggerated stereotypes.

4th: I wasn't trying to disprove his point.

5th: We were invaded, we retaliated, they put up a fight. That's how war works dumbass.

6th: Abortions are completely legal in the USA. As far as ghey marriage goes it's all but legal now.

2, I hope you're not serious.
3, Yeah.
4, k
5, No, Iraqi government did not send their official troops into your country and did not declare war on you, it was a group of extremists who Hijacked a plane and crashed into a building; that's not invading a country.
6, I stand corrected, only gay marriage then.

2: I wasn't serious, it was just a joke. Sports entertainment is solely based on opinion. I honestly think soccer is extremely boring, but that doesn't make it an inherently bad sport, and the same -of course- goes for American football. The reason I said that in my original post is because I've heard a lot of Euro-fagz rant about how American football is a pussy sport because they wear padding.

5: All of those middle eastern countries have been very vocal about their lack of 'warm feelings' for the USA. Their government welcomed the war when it first started (then they got their asses handed to them). As far as the civilian aspect of it goes, we overthrew their tyrannical government and allowed them to build their own. I know there were a lot of cross-fire casualties, but that's just the way war is.

spend 5 minutes on wikipedia on "iraq", and you can read that saddam once was americas biggest ally in the middle east, after the iranian dictator was overthrown.
Yes, till there, iran was the main ally and got free weapons from the USA, for fighting communism. Today its saudi-arabia who gets even more weapons than israel from the states.

I somehow can understand their "lack of warm feelings" quite well.

Just because someone dislikes USA does not approve invading them. If they got their asses handed to them, why did not USA send their troops back home and call it quits?
Also about the civilians, same thing goes, you overthrew their previous government, job done, leave.
But no... there is a reason which I admit, I don't know, why USA government keeps the war alive, but I'm sure that some "big guys" have a profit out of it.

You think the world's biggest army and war industry maintains itself by staying idle?

All wars ---> money and since america has a huge part of it's GDP put into the military that means lots of them just to pursue the $$$ and maintain global influence and strategic points.

I did read it and like I said it's because a huge part of your economy is based on war and cant survive without it, it's not just the "big guys" it branches to everything

There is a way for a country to sustain it's self without war, otherwise the one part of the world would be at war and the other would not be functioning at all. USA chose to sustain it's self by having an economy based on war, like you said, which basically mean it's evil.

I agree with you on this, we shouldn't still be over there. I was just defending the reason for the start of the war.

You can have sex before your 18. It just has to be with someone of similar ages. Also we have very good colleges, if you have the money to get into them. same with healthcare, be rich and you are set.

As far as the other points go, we seem to agree.

You're completely right about this, our media is quite less than honest.

My point was that we weren't all "His name ends with '-jihad' he must be a terrorist!" until the war started.
