Canada was the only country to accomplish their set objectives on D-Day

If i recall correctly, wasn't the main objective of the British and Canadians to liberate Caen? It took you guys about two months to liberate the city while the U.S. were already at Cherbourg in 1/4 of the time. If you are referring to the landings on Juno beach, yes it was successful but the priority was to link with Sword beach which was failed to be done. All in all, the entire invasion didn't go 100% to plan, but it was a decisive allied victory in the end. - Sincerely, you're friendly neighborhood Anon.

They had it fairly easy if I recall correctly. Well as easy as it's gonna get invading a damned beach surrounded by pillboxes with NAZIs wielding MGs.

And if Rommel had gotten his will, they would have been pinned down and butchered by Tiger tanks on the beaches as well
