The US had several for the bombs, which were testing the strength of the bombs on Japan, use it on Japan to reduce casualties, use it to prevent the Soviet Union from taking over Japan and spreading its influence, and demonstrate the US's dominant power in the new power ranking now that the previous top countries such as Britain are in ruble or have been weakened by the World War II.
