y plus 2 = y
square both sides
(y+2)(y+2) = y(s)
subtract the left
0 = y(s)  (y+2)(y+2)
i dont know reverse foil it maybe
0 = y(s)  y(s) + y2 + y2 + 4
0= y4 + 4
subtract 4
4 = y4
divide by 4
1 = y
.....holy **** ...i think i might have have solved it

you screw up equations by squaring. It makes it only positive. If u plug it back in It odes not work.
don't be dumb ***** .
This problem has no answer. Therefore it can not be solved. So the 10% of mathematicians that "solve it" are just retarded. Don't be retarded.
Math. Not even once.
