I choose to believe you for the sake of keeping what sanity I have left
it was much safer compare to the other choice back then (straight razor)
Eh even now they're pretty damn safe
I've never cut myself using one as my go to shaving tool, however when I go on vacation I bring disposables and I usually cut myself once or twice
Don't get me started on straight razors though
>Have pimple on chin
>Go over it with straight razor
>No more pimple
>No more jaw

but you don't break the blade in half to put it in that thing you ******* retard. Straight razors are classically one solid piece of metal riveted to a bone, ivory or wooden handle that do in fact fold on the rivet for safe transportation and storage. I have never once seen an example of a safety razor being broken in half to be used in a device, it's ******* ludicrous to think that's the intended application.

the pattern is what hold the blade in place inside the razor, 's all.
