I use them for scraping old gaskets off, to make mating surfaces really clean and smooth so they won't leak.

It goes inside of a single blade razor like this. You twist it and the top opens up and you can drop one of those razors inside. Its an older style razor that people use to shave their face, my dad still uses one of these.

kind of ironic

it was much safer compare to the other choice back then (straight razor)
User avatar #100 to #27 - trolljunkusa (01/02/2016) [-]
Eh even now they're pretty damn safe

I've never cut myself using one as my go to shaving tool, however when I go on vacation I bring disposables and I usually cut myself once or twice

Don't get me started on straight razors though

>Have pimple on chin
>Go over it with straight razor
>No more pimple
>No more jaw

What seems like a "single razor" is actually two, you split them in the middle horizontally.
User avatar #150 to #7 - derpingthederps (01/02/2016) [-]
They're called shavettes
#168 to #20 - tapeboy (01/02/2016) [-]
but you don't break the blade in half to put it in that thing you ******* retard. Straight razors are classically one solid piece of metal riveted to a bone, ivory or wooden handle that do in fact fold on the rivet for safe transportation and storage. I have never once seen an example of a safety razor being broken in half to be used in a device, it's ******* ludicrous to think that's the intended application.
#16 to #7 - tapeboy (01/01/2016) [-]
You are wrong.
User avatar #19 to #16 - besle (01/01/2016) [-]
Well he is not wrong, a razor like the one he pictured can be split horizontally that enables you to equip a razor blade and lock it in place.
#170 to #19 - tapeboy (01/02/2016) [-]
that's a straight razor I'd like to see anyone try to split it horizontally.
#169 to #19 - tapeboy (01/02/2016) [-]
You are also wrong.

its just that it has that pattern on it and i never saw that on a....razor? the thing in your picture
#10 to #8 - anythingoes (01/01/2016) [-]
the pattern is what hold the blade in place inside the razor, 's all.
