Straight razors are classically one solid piece of metal riveted to a bone, ivory or wooden handle that do in fact fold on the rivet for safe transportation and storage. I have never once seen an example of a safety razor being broken in half to be used in a device, it's ******* ludicrous to think that's the intended application.
