I'm not exactly fond of Islam, but this is just low.

I agree.

They should have passed out free immigrant skin whitening lotion, filled with deadly poison...

Do you know how many ******* anti-fa and good night white pride stickers are hanging around in the average European city?
User avatar #202 to #95 - fatsigurd (01/02/2016) [-]
and how many of them contain razor blades?
User avatar #39 to #1 - severepwner (01/01/2016) [-]
To tear down other people's posters and restrict freedom of speech?

Yeah that is low.

So you're saying it would be okay if Muslims hanged posters with "Anti-germany" or something like "Germany is nazi" and spread skin poison across the poster, so when someone touches it they get burns / serious injures? ok.

Twisting the "freedon of speech" phrase to fit with your ideals is not preaching about freedon... it's being an egocentric prick
User avatar #104 to #98 - severepwner (01/02/2016) [-]
I'm not twisting it. According to you, freedom of speech is only applicable if it suits you apparently.

freedom of speech=/=vigilante justice

Freedom of speech = Government cannot do anything to restrict what you say, but it does not protect you from the consequences or actions of other people.
User avatar #113 to #112 - severepwner (01/02/2016) [-]
Yes it does.

If someone assaults you, murders you, or vandalizes your property because of something you said, they are still going to get prosecuted to the full extent of the law. That does not change no matter what you said prior. People don't get pardons from attacking people because the victim in question had a disagreeable opinion.

Funny, there were tonnes of rapes in the weeks following the economic migrant crisis. Speaking against taking in these millions of so called refugees is considered hate speech, and they take the people who protest against it(not protest as in marching on the streets, just any old facebook post) to jail, I would argue it's fair play.

Actually there are things that can be said that allow you to act in a certain way (e.g. killing someone)
User avatar #114 to #113 - deathweaver (01/02/2016) [-]
That's a different charge, they are not arrested because they restricted your speech, but because they assaulted/vandalized.

In a minor case, if someone put up a poster and someone else tore it down, the person who tore it down can't be arrested on any charges.

Umm except vandalism of a person's posters?
#210 to #116 - anon (01/02/2016) [-]
Umm except that putting posters up without a permit is vandalims.

how dare these people vandalise your vandalism!!!
User avatar #123 to #116 - deathweaver (01/02/2016) [-]
Taking down a poster is not illegal, just as long as it is not on private property.

Even so, if you stood on a public road and started going off on how jews are evil, and someone tells you to shut up, that person is trying to restrict your speech, but is not illegal. It's also a form of free speech in counter-argument.

Either way, it's conduct, not content. Doing stuff like putting razorblades behind a poster with the intent to harm is criminal behavior, and police can intervene.
User avatar #124 to #123 - severepwner (01/02/2016) [-]
There are lot of things that aren't illegal but are generally ****** things to do. Like taking down posters just because you disagree with them.

It's pretty safe to say the only ones who are going to get cut, are people that took it upon themselves to get involved and vandalize the poster. If no one touches the poster, nothing happens.
#133 to #124 - revelent ONLINE (01/02/2016) [-]
Yes, you know what else is pretty ****** ? Attaching razor blades to your poster so that whoever disagreed enough to take it down gets physically harmed. Let's not pretend whoever does **** like this is not an even worse asshole than whoever tears the poster down. Also, usually it's not vandalizing if it's posted on public property.
User avatar #129 to #124 - deathweaver (01/02/2016) [-]
I mean, razorblading people who disagree with you is also pretty ****** .

If the guy just put the poster up without razorblades, nothing harmful happens.
User avatar #131 to #129 - severepwner (01/02/2016) [-]
Besides vandalism of the person's poster. That happens.
#241 to #131 - anon (01/02/2016) [-]
Are you retarded or some **** ?
>Hey let me put this poster up on this post without the owner's acceptance
>HEY! how dare you damage my poster without my acceptance?
Removing vandalism is not vandalism, it's called cleaning.

Here we see the typical /pol/ faggattp justefy harmful behaviour towards people for brain dead reason while they think they know how free speach works.
User avatar #120 to #116 - wrpen (01/02/2016) [-]
That's not how vandalism nor posters work. I don't know about Germany's specific laws, but generally placing a poster or personal sign of some sort on public property leaves it open to be defaced, damaged, and removed as the public wishes.
#49 to #39 - anon (01/02/2016) [-]
You don't have freedom of speech.
