well if we're to believe in an all powerful and all knowing god, then yes
however, if we are to believe he's not all powerful, or that he's not all knowing then you can either blame it on not being able to create it all perfectly, or not able to see the full consequences that would ensue if he did specific things

god is not a name, its a title, just like president.....and either way it represents the head of a system of domination designed to keep the masses under the thumb of those in power with a long list of DONTS that we have to obey or else we get punished
politics controls people through a system of fear of punishment in life and these mainstream religions were just designed to control people through fear of that unknown what comes after death

well, all it implies is that said person saying it is referring to one deity, and usually said deity they believe in
Tis sad but yes that is true
and that is what's sad, authority is based off fear+respect, so if you have a lot of either one you will have high authority. However, sociopaths can't be controlled by fear, certain people like the uncertainty of what comes after death, and some people like what is considered a bad punishment and dislike what is considered by many a good afterlife. And with that a system based on fear more than respect will slowly but surely dissolve when it has the most power
does this imply that cause not all non-mainstream religious belief system rule upon with fear, that they are better?
