Basic rule of working ******* anwhere. Don't insult the customers without reason. If you can't keep a lid on your **** then you shouldn't work behind a counter.

Guess what? If you work at a store and insult a customer for no reason, you deserve to get fired, no matter how ****** your day is. Maybe that guy was having a ****** day too, and didn't feel like taking her ****?
You must be 12 if you think it's okay to insult a customer.

I can understand wantin' to vent some steam on someone who's actin' stupid/like a jerk because you're havin' a sh*tty day
But doin' it on someone who has done nothin' wrong? Not cool
This guy just wanted to preorder a game. He didn't do anythin' that deserved any sort of insult on her part. Not to mention that, apparently, it wasn't the first time she 'said something inappropriate to customers'. If she's that much of a b*tch that she insults customers, she deserves to get fired. Don't work customer service if you're goin' to be a jerk

Im not saying either of them were right but if you insult a customer then you have to pay for it. He overreacted and she lost her job for something she could have kept to herself

if she insults customers all the time, she doesnt deserve the job because she is incompetent i agree.

but this guy is savoring the fact that he got someone fired for passively agressively offending him? oh cmon. thats just harsh.

That is true he overreacted and just loving the fact he got someone fired is stupid, but just keep things to yourself and your job stays fine. He is more wrong for being a pussy but she could have just thought it and not said it

im not defending her. im just saying this guy is a douchebag who didnt have to overreact.

and then post it on the internet, telling people about how jolly he is that he actually got someone fired for a minor inconvience

what it boils down to is her being a prick and him calling her out. If you don't stand up for yourself no one will, although i probs wouldn't have called the manager I woud call her out

If she thinks she can go to work and let her steam out on customers she doesn't deserve the job.

so youre saying if a employee offends you, even in the slightest, that is justified enough to get her boss to fire her from her job?

Correct.

When working in customer service, no matter how ignorant or stupid the customer you're dealing with is, be nice to them if you want to keep your job. Bitch about it later.

This guy on the other hand was doing nothing wrong, simply wanted to buy a new game, hell he could have been buying it for a friend for all she knew, but she decided to call him a pervert anyways. Not only that but she obviously does this a lot according to her manager. She wrought the consequences on herself and deserved to be fired.

I don't feel the guy over reacted at all. If she called me a pervert for buying a video game I'd have called out the manager too. It's unprofessional and unacceptable.

Yes. Her job is to serve the customers and make them feel welcome, not offend them. If you want to be an irritating cunt, don't work with people.

so because she offended you passive agressively, you are going to get her fired as revenge? yeah seems fair.

No, you don't "get her fired." You trot out the manager and tell him, then he decides. If it's a first time thing you can guess she'd be let off with a warning. If it's not, then she gets fired, and it's their own stupid fault for repeatedly insulting customers.
