I read a story a few days ago concerning "TeslyCrypt" a ransomware troyan.
You get a mail with an archive-file and a .js in it. If you execute it it downloads the ransomware and executes it. Than it encrypts every file with write permission and kills taskmgr. It also deletes the shadow copies.
In the comment section somebody said that one of their (now former) admins executed it. As nothing happened he didn't think about it any longer. Until the first support requests went in about not being able to open a file half an hour later. 500GB of data were allready encrypted when they found the problem and got rid of it.
