Not bashing his achievement, but do remember that the first five numbers are pretty much set, so he only really guessed 4, and even then he knew it would be in the 7000s. So already it's down to a 1 in 1000 chance, and it could have been assumed that it was under 500, so now we're at 1/500 chance, which is very impressive, but not absurd.
Guessing all 9 numbers is a statistical absurdity. Guessing 3 is just very lucky!
