So I've been doing things like push-ups, crunches and I think it's called the plank?..
in which you go into a push-up position but you're just resting on your feet and elbows while trying to maintain a straight back.

I'll be honest, even though I feel like the muscles in my chest are more powerful, it's getting difficult to keep going, I never seem to feel anything in my gut except for the breath pain immediately after the "workout".

Advanced tip: When doing the plank, try to push your elbows and toes together.

Make sure you do the planks on your sides as well.
What are you going for? A 6-pack? Try jumping rope to burn fat.

Go to the gym and just work out your whole body then. You'll probably get better results there.
