I don't get how so many people think the friend-zone is a bad thing. The friend-zone is your proving ground, you've got your foot in the door now make your sale. I know it can be intimidating, but if you make a move, one of two things will happen: you'll strengthen your relationship with this person you already like (which may lead to sex at some point) or you fuck up an already fucked up relationship and move on to someone else. But the absolute worst thing you can do is not make a move; things'll just stay the same and you'll be stuck on the wrong end of a one-sided relationship.
And this fuckin' guy,all he's gotta do is wait a little bit for sex. If he would just put in the effort, chances are he'd be back in and he wouldn't even have to pay anymore. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but how do you think he looks to her right now? She's clearly into him, but he's only in it for the sex. She may be a whore but she's still a human and humans crave relationships. He could have a healthy relationship with her (well, as healthy as you can hope for with a prostitute), but as soon as he's presented with one obstacle he bails on her, that's why he's going to be forever alone. He has the opportunity of a lifetime, and instead sees it as a reason to off himself.
Hope he gets his shit together and hope some of y'all will read this and try to break out the friend-zone. Best of luck, and remember sometimes a drink or two will make it easier to say what you mean, I know it did for me.
