So, anyone have some ideas on how I can ask my father if I can start on anti-depressives?
Because I know that if I just ask him he will flip out like I just murdered someone instead of you know... Using his damn brain to think and/or act rationally.
I really need to get my shit together with life & school as well and I think that they would help me out a good bit.

You could see a doctor and make him appoint a psychiatrist to you, they're like a psychologist but they have the right to give you medicine, make sure you find someone who is nice and genuine before accepting any pills from them.

Be careful though, they also have the right to get you locked away if they think you're suicidal.

And he can't give you a prescription?
Or he says that you don't need them.

He just doesn't like to use pills. He's a nice person, but like I said, he says he hates pills

I hate pills too. If you ask me, that doesn't sound like the best option for deal with depression and such.

Or, I should say, I have been for quite some time now.
He helps. But it's more of a 1 hour session to get stuff off of my chest rather than a way to fix my problem. Which is simply beun depressed

That's a psychologist. Psychiatry is something different.

Psychologists look for the healing of mental disorders throw therapy.
Psychiatrists are more like doctors. They treat some "situations" with medicine and other relatives.

One is about study the person, and the other one for treat sickness.

Eeeeeeeeeh, antidepressants aren't really a good idea. Most people on them tend to get worse. Have you tried just solving your problems?

Well, you could just ask about setting up a doctor's appointment, that you aren't feeling well and would like a checkup, and tell the doctor about the depression.

That sounds like a good idea, but what if my father is a but skeptical about well, everything. I know that if I just ask he will be suspicious but I don't think I could fake being sick around him ^_^;;
Though I like the thought of going to a doctor about it rather than him first

If nothing else, just ask about a routine check up or physical.

That sounds like a pretty good way to handle it. I did something similar once, about me having ADHD.
