ITT:

Pick one.

A) Hard-Determinism: Everything is already set from the Big Bang. All those times you've been bullied, all those spikes you've stepped on.. All set. I don't know what the difference between Hard-Determinism and Fatalism is, but if you know, please do explain. That you are completely controlled by the laws of Casualty.
B)Hard-Indeterminism: There is no free will, but the future is still about to happen.
C)Libertarianism: You have a free will and reality is indetermined.
D)Compatabilism: You have a free will, yet reality is determined. Not even sure how this works out.
E)Eternalism: Everything that ever is, ever will be and ever has been is occuring.. Right now.

Uhm.. That's what.. I've gathered. I'm something along the lines of a Hard Indeterminist.

Why?

I'm controlled in a lot of aspects in my life so I would like my will to be mine.

My view is, it's not really you that wants it.

It's your mind that wants it for your body. You're just witnessing the wants.

It sure FEELS like you are in control because you state it, your mind pushes it forward to you.. And so forth.

Yeah.. That's why I want to do things like create a Fight Club for people at my school and exercise a lot.

Because it tends to put my mind off of things. It's the ultimate feeling of control.

It's sort of depressing to believe in such, but I guess I am a depressive person. Can't help it. This dastardly disease set me on this path, and on this path I am.

You understand my concept though, yeah?

Yep I understand it and I know why someone would think like that but.... I don't think like that.

See, here's an interesting paradox. I'd say "I think it's just set into the genes"

That'd only be according to MY view.

According to your view, I'm making myself miserable with my own view. I don't know, man.

At least it's not eternalism!

D: I have a free will, but reality is determined by all the individual free minds working together

I live by Tzeentch

"Everything happens anyway, the only thing you can do, is make sure it goes your way."

Hmm.. Okay.
User avatar #1682836 to #1682826 - candidvres **User deleted account** (11/09/2012) [-]
How is that? If you have free will, what is it worth if the future is already determined?

Like.. I can take this computer and throw it onto the ground, or I can just let it stand here on like it is right now.. But it will still be broken in the future. How?
User avatar #1682848 to #1682836 - rawpedobearraw (11/09/2012) [-]
because i will shape the future not matter how small that maybe, the computer is irrelevant to the fact that the world we live in
