Is this supposed to show something? Does it have a point? Is it picking a side? Is supposed to show how big and bad businesses are? Is supposed to show how women are repressed? Is it supposed show how much they care about them selves? Is it saying to not care so much about your body image? But, then, why only women? This doesn't have a point, what it has is a passive aggressive tone screaming "Look how oppressed we are!". We know this, it happens to both genders. It's called "Advertising" and we all get it.

It isn't supposed to show anything. It says to think about it. Is it wrong to merely think about something?

Honestly I don't think most do.. As long as you don't have a micro dick.. It's not about the size off the boat as much as the motion of the ocean. Also it might be because you're ugly...

It seems really backwards the way things are being pushed now.
Not happy with your body?
Tell everyone else they are wrong and push to change everything else EXCEPT yourself.
Because **** putting in any effort and taking responsibility or anything.

It makes way more sense to just change your own lifestyle to a happier healthier one, than to expect every other living being on the planet to change their ideas of what's attractive and what isn't.

sorry if I offend anyone, my opinion is simply an opinion. Nothing more.

but it's not just about weight
there are plenty of women that are a normal, healthy weight and are unhappy because of other things which they can't change by adopting a "healthy lifestyle"
facial features, breast size, hair color/ texture/ volume/ density/ distribution, skeletal features ( height, hip width, shoulder width, size of hands and feet) skin and many many more

This is true. But when it comes to clothing specifically, it usually is a matter of weight/size.

Honestly I don't get why girls wear makeup anyways. Except for maybe cover up if you have acne, people who wear makeup are stupid in my opinion.

Part of dressing up nicely is using makeup. Just like doing your hair. Not everyone uses it, but you can't deny that it makes things more fancy.

I can in fact.

Why don't men use make-up to dress up nicely?
If it's so nice, why is it only advertised to insecure women, that makes it seem like they are ugly without it?

It's the 'norm' to wear makeup.
Why?
Because it makes you look 'nicer'?
by whose standards?

It's all a scheme to make money off the insecure by selling them something they don't and never actually needed. By spreading the lie that women, who are natural, are ugly. The Idea that if you don't have a mountain of goop and product slathered on your face you're the non-normal one.

I understand, if you had terrible acne, or a rash, or a blemish.

But wearing it when just going out and socializing, and making it the 'norm' to where people think it doesn't look 'fancy' or 'nice' without it is ****** up.

This is a problem with group-think, advertising, and our society.

Agreed. I've put on beauty makeup on maybe three occasions. I'm 23. But I have decent enough skin, so all I need to class up my act is some decent clothing.

I don't know how women can stand to put that **** on every day. Ugh

None. Not a single ******* business. This feminist banter is what's wrong with women today. I love my body, all of my friends love theirs, but sometimes we just wanna put on some ******* makeup and go out for a nice evening. It has nothing to do with self-hate.

The entire joke behind this quote, is that it's from a video about porn.

Good job butchering the joke and making it into another ****** feminist post, OP.
