"The girl says "Oh uh-uh, wait a minute! Wait a minute! Just because I'm dressed this way does not make me a whore!" Which is true. Gentlemen, that is true. Just because they dress a certain way doesn't mean they are a certain way. Don't ever forget it. But ladies, you must understand that is ******* confusing. It just is. Now that would be like me, Dave Chappelle, the comedian, walking down the street in a cop uniform. Somebody might run up on me, saying, "Oh, thank God. Officer, help us! Come on. They're over here. Help us!" "Oh-hoh! Just because I'm dressed this way does not make me a police officer!" See what I mean? All right, ladies, fine. You are not a whore. But you are wearing a whore's uniform."

I don't know how that other anon managed to get so flexible but they should really pull their head out of their ass..

Most people generally don't think that "getting turned on" is anywhere near "the right to rape someone"

I wonder if a rapist ever saw one of these protests and was like "huh, I guess they do have a point, and that's a clever use of words. I'm not going to rape anyone anymore"

I don't get the protests where women take off there tops and/or wear skimpy clothes. To me thats like saying "we are tired of being oppressed by all these males that think we are only meat for them, so lets show them pretty much the one thing that stays in there mind, for free, and in public."

As dumb as I think those kinds of protests are, you're doing what's called the "strawman" fallacy. Women that protest by showing off skin aren't trying to say what you put in quotations. Generally, they are trying to make the point that women should be safe no matter what they wear. Showing skin doesn't mean it's okay to be harassed, molested, or raped. And this is true. No matter what a woman (or man) wears, it is never okay for someone to be a victim.

This is in response to some people saying things like "well look what she was wearing," implying that a scantily clad woman is asking to be a victim. Most of the time, this is just a joke, but some people actually do have that mindset (whether you believe it or not, those people do exist), that women showing skin shouldn't complain when they are molested.

You seem to be confusing all the anti-feminist stuff you see on the interwebs and jumbling it all together. Sort that stuff out before forming an opinion.

Thats why I preceded my statement with, "to me thats saying". Because I know thats not what there trying to say. This misrepresentation led me to that opinion. I think I've got it sorted out.

Once when my grandpa was young he heard about this group of women that did what you're talking about, so naturally he got all of his friends together and they went out to see these naked women protesting (because back in the day there was no internet porn, you had to go to incredible lengths to see boobs), much to their surprises and dismay they were mostly older overweight women.

I believe the point is that no matter what you're wearing, there's no excuse for rape.

That's generally what the idea is when people protest like that, at least; "no matter how I am dressed, I'm not asking for it"

Yeah. But the whole "I'm not asking for it" argument is kind of silly. People grabbing at the literal words said and not their meaning. We know you didnt ask for it, it was RAPE. The rapists don't give a damn what you want, by way of being rapists, and the people who say, "don't dress like that and walk home" don't mean its right to rape scantily clad women; they mean that if there are rapists, they'll probably go after the sexy ones. You don't wear steak to a tiger cage. Its not an accusation of fault. Rape is bad, and its the fault of the rapist. But that doesn't make it less foolish to wear a bikini and pumps down a dark alley at 2am in Detroit. This whole "we're not asking for it" campaign is kind of counterproductive in that

A: They're protesting the wrong thing. No one genuinely thinks a victim wanted it, like the campaign implies. Its like if gun crime victims walked around with a target on their shirts says "still not asking to be shot". They're protesting an inane phrase someone said once 10 years ago and not the actual issue. It just makes people treat the issue with scorn because of how much these kids only hear what they want to hear.

B: its a protest against criminals. Wut. Bro, its already illegal, what are you protesting for? Go teach a self defense class or buy stock in tazers or something.

tldr: Protesters are dumb because they protest slut shaming instead of rape. I appreciate the public lingerie though.

Well it certainly wouldn't be her face. j/k. I really hate how in my country the U.S. we have so much body shame. Perhaps if we didn't insist on hiding everything these twisted ******* that assault women would be less motivated to do so. I don't know, the whole situation pisses me off.
