I am not aware of what a headcrab is but when I read your comment I immediately thought: HEAD PIGEONS.

I miss that show so much, it was great.
This is what a headcrab actually looks like, it's from Half Life.

Dear lord that thing is disgusting.
It looks like a mutation between a rat, spider, and crab was severely burned and had radiation poisoning.
But, your clay thingy looks pretty close to it. Id be careful with the coloring though.
Cant give you any criticism, because I cannot art.
Unless you consider writing an art. Thats my art.
