Hey guys I was looking to get into drawing but not sure how to go about. Any tips or anything?

I'm not totally sure what you mean by that, but best ways to start off? Start small, start simple. Analyze basic drawing techniques (starting with shapes, guidelines, etc.) and apply them to whatever you're drawing. Look at art books in your local bookstore (but only the high quality ones) for that. I advice drawing characters you're familiar with (Spongebob's a good one) because these characters were formed and animated with the same techniques you're using, therefore making it easier to understand how it works. It gives you a good deconstruction of the artistic process, which will eventually help you create ideas of your own.

If you're coming from no artistic background or experience what so ever, don't think you should be making masterpieces and don't beat yourself up for sucking early on. Practice regularly, sketch a lot.
