Due to the appearance of the first person, one would assume he is either
drunk or drugged, an ailment nobody can help with. He would probable lash
out to any assistance provided, and so people ignore him. Not the compassionate
thing to do, but justified based on similar events where people got mugged helping.
It is completely unnatural for a suited, neat person to be lying around on pavement,
and so people rush to help.
This does not compare appearance, this merely compares the mentality of people with
respective appearance.
TD;LR: You wanna pull off a mugging, put on a suit

No, its the fact that person B is a woman. I saw one where two actors did the same thing one was a business man and the other a business woman. The man was left alone while everyone rushed to the woman's aide.

That's BS. Dressed as a a homeless guy he lies himself on the ground as if he wants to sleep. Dressed in a suit, he starts coughing and pretends to have a seizure.

Homeless people pass out all the time due to their homelessness though,
When a healthy looking guy in nice clothing does that it seems more serious
Still tho

Many homeless people are alcoholics or drug users, they might have some serious disease too and aren't much about hygiene, i would call emergency health care or so but wont go nearby.

Honesty, I would approach the homeless guy either. They scare the hell out of me. Every time I pass one they harass me. No, I'm not talking about asking for change, that's perfectly fine and shouldn't bother anyone. Homless people tend to grab me and either make me pray with them. I even had one corner me and start stalking to me about how they use to rape girls exactly like me in their home country. I had another follow me around asking for a kiss and started yelling out in public I spit on him when he was just sitting there.

I'm sure not all homeless people are like this but for me personally they scare the **** out of me.

**** all of you people who think that the only way for people to end up homeless is to be schizophrenic or drug addicts. I personally know people who used to be homeless for years, and its DEFINITELY not always the person's fault. People have such a prejudice against anyone who has to live on the street for a while, but tell me, exactly what else would you do if your parents and other family members are dead or gone and your ****** retail job can't pay for your apartment anymore?

Some people have to spend every dollar they make on rent, and if they miss it too many times, all that investment is just gone, and they're left with nothing. Would you rather they turn to crime and loot your house to make enough for a new place with pawn money? Because that's the only other short term solution. Everyone who sees anyone wearing a lot of layers of worn down clothes to prevent them from DYING of exposure looks down on them, and that's pathetic.

Most of you people saying that only drug addicts could ever end up on the street have just had too good a life to understand how wrong you are. Yeah, there are some genuinely crazy people out there who have made some genuinely terrible decisions, but a lot of them simply haven't. I'm definitely not one to pull out the privilege card, because its a stupid concept, but you guys really need to open your eyes and see how easy it is for some people in entirely different situations than you to go down that path, and that helping them or at least feeling empathy for them is a much better alternative for your juvenile condemnation of them.

People see a homeless guy laying face down in the street, of course they're gonna assume it's some kind of substance-related affliction. Now ask yourself, would you go near a homeless man with a system coursing full of *********************** ?

Healthy looking person, clearly NOT homeless and therefore not likely suffering from any kind of substance abuse coughs himself into a coma, of course people are going to stop, they assume he won't shiv them for touching him.

Not saying it's right, those people doing nothing more likely than not have phones that can leave a ****** YouTube comment in under 10 seconds from anywhere in the world; they should be CALLING someone.

tl;dr one time I *********** a goat until it died.

might sound cruel but there is no reason for a homeless person to stink or look like a bum.
if they do it is usually their choice, even if they dont admit it, and their own fault.

i am not sure how you call it in english. but in my language there is something called (translated) "catwash".
you take a wet towel or cloth and just rub yourself clean. a bowl of water is enough to get the most disgusting smell out and smell normal again. maybe a bit sweaty, but not the disgusting stench that makes people want to vomit some homeless people have.

Unfortunately the truth of the matter is some homeless people get that way through their own bad life choices such as drugs, and giving them money only funds that habit. I've seen the homeless near where I live get dealt drugs quite a bit, so it's not evil and it's not disgraceful to judge based on that detail, it's just the streetwise part of our brain knowing when it would be a bad idea to get involved. It's unfortunate for those who need help, but as with everything, the minority ruin everything for everyone.
