I have done freelance writing for game review companies and a few fashion magazines. As the writer, I've either been approached with a theme or product type to write about, and then we determined a length and a price per word. I was paid roughly 10-15 cents per word when I was putting out 6-10 half page articles a week. Most of my work was directly through the company to be posted on their websites, but every once in a while I used an agent when my contacts were dry. If you are trying to be a publisher for women's fashion, more than likely you don't need the information about the article writing, you need contacts that want their products advertised through your articles. To do so, you would need some sort of proof in a consumer base interested in their products, and some established writing samples, best shown in the form of a completed publication. I only worked for companies that were already established, but I do know of a few people who did write for start-ups for a reduced fee. You are looking at a minimum of 10 different writers with 2-3 topics each, 5-15 cents per word depending on the article and research needed for writing, an editor and creative designer, and finally a medium to publish (web or print). After all of that, then you present a finished product and either purchase or "hit" numbers to various companies and see if they'll pay for advertising space and/or sample products as subjects for articles. For that, you'd need a marketing person who can really go after the right people in the various PR departments. Hope this helped.

I've written for Cracked a couple times. They're pretty easy to write for. List format comedy is a fairly simple process.
To get an article published it basically goes:
Get idea
Make a pitch a sample of the article with all of your items for the article.
The editors approve you to write the article
You write the article
It goes to editing
You get paid
Article gets published

If you're willing to pay per word instead of per article. You'll get higher quality (Because they're trying to add words for cash), and you'll get people who actually know what they're doing.

i do that **** as a part time job next to my studies (unfortionally in german). when you want to start such a thing you have to watch the SEO (i hope it's called that in english to) guidelines. you have to fill the text with certain keywords so it shows up in google.

as long with the info...that depends. when you say you want an article about the new collection of luis vitton i write you one. if you want me to write an article about shoes you have to give me more details on how the article is focused.

hope i could help
