my biggest problems with Clannad is that the main characters are so beautiful and flawless while the bad guys (f.x. the basketball team) are ugly rotten people, and the ending wich is series ruining (for me)

my ideal ending would be that Ushio wouldn't die and Tomoya would become like his father i.e a single dad that lost his wife so that the series would come full circle (that's my opinion anyway). if you watched the bonus episodes here nagisa came back then the ending was rubbish, but if you didn't watch those then it was not good
