I just started watching Little Witch Academia (I've been busy since it came out) but it's having some playback issues and random scenes become really pixelated and corrupted like in the picture I posted. I tried redownloading it but the problem persisted, so I'm wondering if maybe it's my video player? I'm using the DivX player, but I haven't had any issues in the past with it. Could somebody who's a little more technologically savvy help me out here?

Different player. DivX sucks. Bad.

Well, I've had that problem with VLC where I would get artefacts or green screen when I tried playing anything 1080p or was ripped from a BD. I switched to MPC-HC after that and I've have no problems in the last 2 years.

I'll give that a try too if the others don't fix my issues (even if that wasn't meant for me), so thanks.

Go for it. Usually in these cases it's mostly just the video player. People can say what they like about VLC, but it really is not good at all.

MPC-HC is SO much better, thank you. I can't believe I was using DivX this whole time.

No problem man. MPC-HC is really great. 2 years using it and never ran into any problems that were from using that player.

Try using this, see if it works.

You need to login to view this link

Or if you want the codec pack, just use the link in the "Note:" section at the top.

I switched from DivX to VLC last night after I was having some problems playing Hataraku, and when I used VLC it fixed all the issues I was having. It might be worth a shot to try a different video player.

Thanks. I have VLC, but I've never tried it, so I guess it's time to see if it fixes my problem.
