How many series have you finished? How many are you currently watching?

I've finished 97 and I'm watching 9 currently airing series in Japan, along with Deadman Wonderland and Casshern Sins on Toonami.

Just felt like getting a gauge on your powerlevels.

Finished:
TV: 48
OVA: 18
Movies: 17
Specials: 34

On-going:
TV: 7
OVA: 2

Total time:
Episodes: 4,274
Days: 70

The days are quite inaccurate since I've re-watched about some of them 3 times each :)

Mostly the ones around only like 80 episodes or something... Those are watched within 12 hours so... total days might be closer to 100? :3

I've lost count, and unfortunately I may have only finished a handful :(, I find it kind of difficult for animes to hold my interest... They tend to lose me after about 4 maybe 5 episodes :P... Idk y, for example Dog Days, initially I thought that anime would be awesome, holy crap I was wrong, it was full of cliches, and the DUMBEST rules for combat I've ever seen... Lost interest after 2 very awkward episodes... I just can't finish for some reason :/

Don't forget I'm still watching other shows while waiting for episodes to come out.

You probably could catch up to me though, but I don't know if I'm going to have any work this week so I might get a lot done.

I'm about 1/4 way through Cromartie High School.
No more socialising for me for the next few weeks.

I also have about 40 shows I've downloaded that I plan on watching in between seasons/on slower seasons.

I envy you, I have absolutely no backlog.

It's not very hard to find shows, it's like the more you watch the more shows open up to you.

I know, I know. I've been meaning to build one up, hopefully this is enough motivation.

If I carried on at the rate I used to watch anime, I could be in the 200's by now.

Oh, and not watching anything currently airing. I don't like waiting.
#4647 to #4644 - technoticacid (06/10/2012) [-]
Good man.

I love watching currently airing stuff for some reason, always gives me something to watch.
#4650 to #4647 - hooves (06/10/2012) [-]
Really? I dont like watching more than one thing (I confus boutz da storylines den) at the time, so when I first watch, I wanna watch more than one episode.

So what do you watch anyway? DEEP shows? Pointless girls being cute? Powerlevel pissing competitions?
#4668 to #4650 - technoticacid (06/10/2012) [-]
I don't have a preferred genre, although most of my top shows tend to be Super Robot. I like the "deep" stuff like Evangelion and Steins;Gate as well, and moeshit like Lucky Star and Milky Holmes.

I'm not a big fan of older stuff, having just got into anime a few years ago. I'm trying to get more into it, though, I'll be checking out G Gundam and Blue Gender pretty soon.
#4672 to #4668 - hooves (06/10/2012) [-]
I see. I was more into anime for like a year ago, just recently got back the interest.
Mostly watch LOLDEEP shows like Serial experiment lain, ergo proxy, kino no tabi and whatnot. Not too big a fan of moeshit, althought (I hate to admit it) I did enjoy K-on!

I think it's mostly a case of "I dont like the fanbase around it, so I dont like the actual show" kind of thing
#4675 to #4672 - technoticacid (06/10/2012) [-]
Ah yeah, that's why I fucking despise shows like Death Note. The fanbase absolutely kills me, and Deadman Wonderland is starting to get the same way.

Moeblobs hit home with me though since it's really relaxing. I love shows where I get really pumped and into it, and then I'll watch another show to just chill.
