Well I just finished the first episode of Haibane Renmei. It starts of all peaceful n' shit forming the equivalent of "Cute angels doing cute things". Then it went all "Lol, fuck that!" and threw this shit at you (gif). One minute later it's just like "wait, we chaged our mind again" and it's back to "Cute angels doing cute things". Still entertaining though, just odd. ITT: Weird mood/tone changes in an anime.

Ah shit. I'm trying to remember one of the Gundam series my brother talked about where the writer's wife and kid died in a car crash and he kept writing. You can actually notice where the writer's family dies as he changed the tone and mood instantly between episodes.
