I know how you feel man, its my second most favorite anime!

Funny. My second favorite also. But BY FAR the best ending. The ending's just so amazing.

This was the first show to make me cry out of sadness one moment, and cry tears of joy the next.

Clannad was the first (only) show in my non-childhood life to make me cry out of sadness, Automatically placing it in the top spot. Angel Beats just gives me that feeling that I could cry, but, I just don't end up doing it.

I don't think I've ever cried out of joy before. Weird that i've never noticed that before.

I would have a similar experience as you, but i watched angel beats before clannad. Angel Beats is actually what made me into more of an anime lover. So in that respect it has a special place in my heart.

Well I watched Angel Beats before Clannad also. I had watched a few before Angel Beats, my very first being Death Note (fortunately, otherwise I may not have gotten into anime) and I only found about Clannad while looking up Angel Beats songs on Youtube. Both are absolutely stunning, but due to the longer length of Clannad, there was much better character development. I wish the season of Angel Beats lasted longer so more stories could have been told, including eventually Kanade's full story.

They are apparently making another season, but i heard it takes place before the events in the first season.

I've heard many many different rumours regarding a second season, whether it be a sequel season, happening while Otonashi is left alone in that world, a prequel, or basically another season with the same characters for more character development. They've all turned out false, but a man can dream.

Yeah, another season of it would be so amazing. It really deserves another one.

Hopefully if it's popular enough it will get one. The way I see it, it was the second season of Clannad that put it at my number one spot. I don't see how freaking Angel Beats wouldn't be popular enough for a second season.

Holy crap man, Clannad is my number one too! But yeah, hopefully its just a matter of time till we hear something about it.
