Then started with subs cuz they were the only ones available
Got used to them, actually liked them
prefered them over dubs
now I can't stand either language, it just seems like the Japanese VA's aren't putting any effort anymore and just come off as boring
while English VA's just suck...

I prefer dubs since I like the English language way more than the Japanese. It's just hard to find any good quality dubs out there.

Watching subs are for weaboo fags who like to pretend that they are from Japan and wear kiminos and watch bad anime like Code Geass, Cowboy Beebop, Trigun, Legend of Legendary Heroes (Seriously just looking at that title lets you know it's a generic piece of shit show). If you're going to watch it, why not watch it in English? The VAs don't have those dreadful accents and the lines are all way better. Just look at One Piece, that series was so good and 4kids made a dub that blew the sub out of the water. Plus then you don't have to read and you can focus on the story instead of those subs.

But reading tho
