I'm bored, so let's do something different.
ITT: We describe what a 4Kids dub of our favorite anime would be like.
If 4Kids dubbed either version of FMA:
1) There wouldn't be any transmutation circles because they'd look like Satanic circles to them. Instead they'd have a horribly editted bible in there places.
2) It'd be Magic instead of Alchemy, and the title would be changed to "Fullmetal Magician" because of this.
3) The origins of the Homunculi would never be explained. They'd just be there for no apparent reason.
4) Ed wouldn't lose an arm and a leg, and Alphonse would just be Ed's older brother who wears armor.
5) Alphonse's name would be changed to "Alex" because they seem to think simple names are hard to pronounce.
6) Hughes wouldn't die, he'd be transferred to some remote base that wouldn't appear at all. All scenes involving his family after that episode would be scrapped completely.
7) One of the villains would be French because, according to 4Kids, there has to be 1 French person in the cast.

And they would't refer to Bradley as they Fuhrer, because of Nazi's and stuff.

boyddamilkman (11/18/2012) [-] In completely unrelated news about my favourite anime being dubbed. The dub for Mawaru Penguindrum is being directed by Steven Foster. He did the dub for Ghost Stories... and HOTD. So yea, it's gonna be a joke dub. And while I wasn't gonna watch the dub anyways, it still depresses me to know that at least one person will watch the dub without knowing how heavily it is altered from the source material.
As for a 4kids dub, 99% of scenes are cut out as it is deemed "to confusing or unfit for children".

Ben proceeds to court her properly and then asks her father for permission to marry her after many months of a steady relationship and having established himself financially.
