As someone who's watches and reads it, I can say it's pretty good, but as knives said, rape is prevalent early on. the tone is very consistent, so just give the first episode a shot, and see if you like it.

I'm quite enjoying it. Not my AOTS, but I get excited whenever I see a new episode is released. It has its flaws, but so far the plot is thoroughly interesting, and the psycho little kid in episode 4 (kousuke) is probably my new favorite thing ever. Also the MC is an interesting choice, because he (in flashbacks to his life at home) is a true, bonafide dick. Intentionally hate-able MCs always interest me.

Prepare yourself for all the rape though. In 6 episodes, 7 or 8 cases of rape have been mentioned, as well as two attempted rapes and one that ALMOST happened--mostly to the female MC in your pic.

Best mascot?

Yup. I got a thing for psychotic little boys. Czes, Kousuke, Selim--anyone of the sort is an instant favorite.

It's okay, not shit, not really good. If you like the topic of rape, I'm sure you'll like it. This is all based on the anime though.

That becomes easy to explain as the story progresses. As a means to ensure people won't be spared, their BIM's will not work for anyone but them, and whoever kills them. Himiko was hit with a BIM that belonged to Sakamoto, but was not activated by him, therefore, a dud.
