Fuck the ending of Geass...

Well I'll say it was pretty good though. Some pretty good fights and the mechs weren't over-used too much, though there were some stupidly OP ones. I wasn't confused or lost at all throughout the anime either. Though some questions popped up here and there, most of them were answered. I can't say I was surprised about the way the plot and story turned out because I saw it coming about 7-8 episodes back, but it still managed to surprise me to some extent. I'm not going to say whether it could have been improved upon or whether or not it was 'flawlessly executed' because everyone has different opinions, but I will say I really did enjoy it.

As for the characters, I was satisfied. Most of the cast was introduced within the first season which left the second season plenty of time to develop them. Though 25 episodes obviously couldn't show much development for some 50+ main, supporting, and tertiary characters, most of the important main and supporting characters had some good attention. Though some say that Ledouche's development was 'jumping the shark', I thought he was pretty great. Fuck Spinzaku. I love C.C.

Soundtrack was K. Though at some points I felt like I was just listening to the same thing over and over again, and it's bad if you notice that, the music was introduced at the right points.

And that ending...fuck that ending. I will say I seen that coming, but didn't everybody.
Even though I say I don't like the way it turned out, I actually do. It was bittersweet and it answered most of the remaining questions that were just laying there throughout the anime, though some were still left. A lot of people say that it didn't have to end that way but I'm glad that it did because I feel if it ended any differently, it would have left A LOT more confusion and unanswered questions.

OVERALL: 7.5-8/10

Now I need to finish the remaining anime I've yet to watch. (Thanks Kotor)

I finished Code Geass recently as well. I think it was really good.
It does have it's flaws like how Jeremiah suddenly turns to Lelouch's side once he realizes he's him, things like these that didn't make a whole lot of sense.
Also I feel R2 went too fast. It tried to get a lot done and the plot moves at insane speed. I suppose that's a good thing but I felt it went too fast.

Because Jeremiah didn't realize who Lelouche was, and Lelouche didn't realize who Jeremiah was. Plus they never had a chance to talk alone until that episode

If the plot went any slower though, too much would have been left behind and almost nothing would have been answered. But even though the plot did move incredibly fast, the writers did a pretty good job of hiding that and covering it up with other things.

Maybe so, but I just felt that development was a little forced. We're dealing with a man who spent 3/4ths of the show chasing Zero and then suddenly he has a chance of heart.

And yes, I agree, it got covered what it needed to, but I still feel it was a little too fast.

Because Loyalty

But yeah, maybe the Jeremiah thing was a little too much. But out of all the characters you want to talk about spending 3/4ths of the anime chasing Zero and then having a change of heart, look at Suzaku's ass. I thought what happened with him towards the ending was pretty good and I hated it at the same time.
