Finished Kimi ni todoke earlier this week, it was a great anime, definitely wished more romance animes were like it, and not ship-less harems or some such "romance"

Love Hina is the epitome of harem animes with a picture perfect example of "that girl from your childhood" and a proactive love story.
Spice and Wolf is perfect in the way that it makes you love the ship more than any other story and how naturally the relationship progresses.
Of animes that aren't directly romance but still have some to do with it there's Gosick with how it makes you care for the characters and Angel Beats! with the beautiful but sad ending.
