Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica.... that ending... ..... .... it's worse than mirai nikki, and that was pretty fucking brutal on the feel 'o' meter.
It was like when yuno created a world where she didn't even exist yet, yukiteru still wanted her, same relationship between homura-chan and Madoka.
Madoka becomes a God and isn't recognized for it.

but yeah, that mirai nikki revelation towards the final episodes was really well written, glad they stepped out of the survival game structure. Nice tragic ending, i loved seeing yuuki turn into a god and just stare at his cell for 10 000 years, that gave immense feels..

Then it slaps you in the face with a sad realization. After you're left to dwell upon the ending, it comes back and gently soothes the area where it slapped you with sadness.
Mirai Nikki wasn't particularly as "feely" as other anime.
