I don't think i should convince you. We all have personal likes and dislikes, and if the show is not your cup of tea, so be it.
I on the other hand, love Soul Eater. The character's become more interesting throughout the story, and the plot develops so much better. It has it's ridiculous moment's, (I'm looking at you, ending.), but it's still an great show nonetheless in my eyes. I have yet to pick up on the manga though, and will do so soon. Anyway, do what you want. It's not my job to make you watch something, or tell you to not watch it. If you feel as if there is a need to get people to convince you to watch it, i honestly think that you think it still has a chance to be good, otherwise you would have dropped it and been done with it by now. If you think that people can convince you, don't tell them to. Just pick up on the show again, get a drink and some food, and start marathoning it. If it still isn't your cup of tea, and you still find it to be annoying to watch, drop it. Otherwise, have fun and keep watching. That is all.

imo he was awesome, best fighting style ive seen in manga. spirit was just comic relief.

More characters will be introduced. Reading the manga is a better choice because the way they end the anime is just outrageous.

Why would we need to convince you? If you don't want to watch it don't watch it. A good rule of thumb is watch 5 episodes of a show, then drop it if you dislike it.
