Just finished the first FMA series including the movie. I liked it a lot. The movie just a little bit more than the show. I would have liked a somewhat happier ending though. I'd give the show about an 8.5 and the movie a 9.

So what are you guys up to?

I have heard mixed things on Gurren Lagann. Either it's really good or overrated as fuck. It looks promising to me. And I am already 15 episodes in Code Geass since I was watching it along with FMA. I didn't like it at first, but I'm really starting to love it.
