So I've got nothing better to do. Here's my question. Do you guys have any ideas for a manga/anime/comic book in general you have thought up? I have one about zombies but I just recently came up with a new one. So with DC Comics, they just rebooted everything. They have the mainstream earth/universe which is where most of the stories take place, Earth-1 which involves in more modern origins of classic superheroes, and Earth-2 which reintroduces Golden Age superheroes. My idea is for Earth-3 where the roles are switched. Like Batman is a bad guy sort of thing. They have done it in the past, but I have been thinking up ways to make it completely unique or at least different from the old Earth-3 comics. It would focus more on The Jester (Good version of The Joker) and Alex Luthor. Not extremely original on paper, but I have a lot of new ideas for it. What do you guys think? I would love some feedback.
TL;DR The Joker is a good guy, Batman is the bad guy

I had an idea a little while back.
It's set in the future, 20 or 30 years after a major war. America (yeah, not Japan) had gone through a huge spike in wealth and nationalism several decades back, which eventually put them at odds with much of the outside world.
Military technology went through two major advancements during this time period. The first involved mechanizing soldiers--in which limbs were purposefully replaced by better-functioning mechanical prosthetics (this came earlier in the war). The second advancement arose in the middle of the war when nationalism was sky-high and winning was key. It involved genetic modification of fertilized eggs, which, when put back into the mother, would grow into a partially mechanized human much better suited for war. These children were made for the purpose of war, and raised as soldiers. They're durable like machines, can think for themselves as humans, and blend in with relative ease.
In the end, America loses the war, and the whole thing becomes just a stain in people's memories. Because of this, they want nothing to do with the remnants of the war--in this case the manufactured soldiers. The soldiers people are shunned from society, if not outright killed in the immediate wake of the war.
In "current day", compounds of these people still exist and survive outside the protection of the government. The two main characters are a man (a mechanical soldier) and a girl (daughter of a genetically engineered mother). The man is in his late 40's, a veteran soldier of the war, and the girl is in her very early twenties, born after the end of the war. She was able to hide her and her mother's identities up until now, but she was recently ousted in her town and fled to the outskirts of town, where the man (Adrian) found her and welcomed her into the compound.
tl:dr, manufactured soldiers are shunned from society when their country loses the war.
