Me and my 19 year old uncle have gone through the same phases our whole lives and one of things that stuck was anime because some tv shows just suck, the only non anime things i watch are comedies like reno911 tosh.o and such. No one really sees me watch anime but maybe my mom will open my door to say something to me and it's on she just doesn't say anything i mean i guess she get's it because i watched pokemon digimon and yu gi oh when i was young and she thinks they are just different versions.

Currently I got my uncle back into some anime he's watching soul eater and the thing is we don't watch anime all the time, it's split for me this summer /video games/friends/working out/anime/ during the school year its all that +plus homework and anime is last on my list usually i watch a few episodes before bed and a few while i workout.

My best friend isn't too into anime but he enjoyed DBZ as a kid and I go over his house to watch it with it, when looking for a movie to watch on netflix instant one day he said as he scrolled down jesus whats with this anime crap (this was long before we dbz'd) but i feel like i can get him to watch yu yu hakusho even though he really is not an anime guy.

I dont know my family perspective on anime but when i say im watching it they just go "hmm" then continue on with their day


plus I got my friend into watching anime and for some reason he isnt independent on his anime watching even though he has seen 30

I've got a few close people that I can discuss anime with which really helps me. My moms reaction to me watching an anime is about the same as with your own family.

I don't know what my family's opinion is on me watching anime. I know my sister got into watching some naruto and something else lately. Also some fairy tail I think.

I have no siblings so the people I generally talk to about anime are my closer friends, otherwise it's like I'm talking about quantum physics with my other friends. My mom would but have no bloody idea what I'm talking about... and as for my dad... well you already know his opinion.

Yeah. I bet it would feel wonderful to have someone to watch anime with. :c

Nobody cares that I watch anime. One person thought by anime I meant hentai once. But that was an easy misunderstanding to clear up. =/
