Was kind of expected to do an arc about it, as it was the soul reapers fault the quincies nearly all died out, and it's shining more light on one of the unfamiliar races of the series. As a fan, I'm glad it's continuing but I do want it to end soon as well purely because on the last episode I genually thought it was over then, right at the end Ichigo says "See you soon" or something like that.
