I wish I could nap.

Whenever I go to bed and I'm not actually sleepy tired I just lay there for an hour and find it impossible to sleep either because my heartbeat keeps my awake or my mind just wont stop going.

I take buspar and lexapro for depression/anxiety (just stopped with the buspar because It made me feel like I was in a haze) so I have some issues sleeping. Now I take Modafinil in the morning and a melatonin supplement at night and that seems to be working.

If you drink a cup of coffee then take a nap directly afterwards, it'll take 20-30 minutes for the caffeine to kick in, waking you up and making you feel great.

It's all in the timeframe you nap. too little or too much sleep, and you dont get a full REM cycle, hence the "What year is it" mindset.
