nope. there are some seriously crazy things that went down with the english slaves learned to use in the south.
try reading some of the tradional transcripts of the stories the gullah people from the south used to tell (mainly, the tales of uncle remus, and of Br'er rabbit).
i'd be damned if i could understand gullah when spoken fluently, let alone speak it.
****** got more than a dash of ghana in it, and it's one hell of a differant culture, i can tell you that much.
